  1. Thought that would get your attention!! I need some advice on a serious thing. Was just sat here browsing RMF and all of a sudden there was a huge 'crack' . It made me jump about 2 foot in the air, and even got the dogs off their beds! Sounded like an electrical crack (or an apperating house elf!), so I'm thinking might be electrics but all appliances and lights are fine and weren't disturbed. So question is how worried should I be? or Ta!
  2. for Georgia - hope she's feeling better soon and nobody else in your family gets it Hope little Tinchy is doing well today Billy - sory to hear about job, but I'm sure something else will come up for you. Well done to you and Kiera on the agility! It's very addictive Abby - glad EH visit was ok if stressful - hope you are feeling less bleugh today Also hoping that the gorgeous Dylan's leg is better today It's really quite chilly here this morning I've loads to do but none of it I actually want to do
  3. Looks like they had a lovely day. I love Spike and Cherry
  4. I know I've missed loads as I've been having the problems with loads of white space and reading was not much fun. I'm sure there will be needed, probably some and almost certainly My lovely friends who I have been dogsitting for have just come back and collected Brock, and taken my boys for a walk which is really nice as it is pishing down here. My not so nice upstairs neighbours have built a charming silver metal shed in their garden - we live in a consevation area (so they should have got pp) and I look at said shed out of my back bedroom window due to the way the houses are built. Would like to report them but it would obviously be me and I don't want the hassle as they are 'orrible
  5. So Glad Sir H is home and has eaten Hoping he's back to his old self very soon
  6. 'ello Mrs Bejo, so glad your horrid neighbour is being dealt with. He really is nasty and deserves all he gets. Would love to see the look on his face as he is escourted away in a police car!! Lovely Pickle pic! Get well soon for Alex and anybody else feeling poorly to folks having a rotten time Just back from a lovely walk with my boys my friend and her dog. Dogs had a wonderful time and decided to do flat out crazy chasey runs at the end of the walk including boinging through the wheat in a very comical manner! They are both contentendly fast asleep now
  7. Norty collie poopie!! I however would worry lots about leaving a choke chain on incase of it getting caught so how about a normal buck collar but made of chain like this
  8. self indulgent wibble warning 'My' house is on the market It's no longer my home but it was my family home for many years, and I love it. After losing my mum 3 years ago and my dad earlier this year is just another kick in the guts. My dad in his 'wisdom' has left all the dealings to his sister (who came out of the woodwork when he was ill ) so I have no control over it and have had to find things out by looking on rightmove It's all a mess Sorry not kept up but wanted to send for Emily and Archie and his mum
  9. Happy belated birthday Henry You share your birthday with my hooman cousin Henry - only he's 17 and a lot less cute than you!!

  13. Sorry, don't have authors for some. The Virgin in the Garden, Still Life and the other 2 in the 'series' by AS Byatt are fairly weighty tomes but great Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell is brilliant, but not his others (that I have read) The Welsh Girl Random Acts of Heroic Kindness Memory Keepers daughter Half of a Yellow Sun Any Jane Austin, but especially Pride and Prej, Sense and Sensibility and Emma The No 1 Ladies Detective Agency books are a good light hearted read
  14. Lots of positive thoughts for Tim and Mary
  15. Really glad your dad has had such positive news Di Glad you have meds sorted Mog to wibbly 'mums' of girlies going for speys, but which doesn't include mrs bejo!!
  16. Thinking of your dad today Di I made page 1 If anyone is suffering in the heat come to Scotland! It's warm here but not a hint of scorching sunny weather found elsewhere
  17. So sad. Thoughts with you all No chance of catching up so as appropriate - my apologies fo doing so to Mrs Oook, nice to see you back. I have just had the boys at the vets for Bill's 6 month check up and Finn's KC vax, and all the other dogs in both before I went in and when I came out were puppie having their first vax! It was crazy. All pedigrees, and not rescues as far as I was able to find out, but at least the rottie pup had a tail. then just as pulled into my road there were 2 springer pups, couldn't have been more than 4 months old - puppies everywhere! Vet receptionist said she'd never known so many puppies at one time - has anybody else seen this trend? Or is it a strange Edinburgh thing?
  18. OMG!!! Was thinking, yeah, yeah, whatever, not very funny until the end - brilliant!!
  19. She's lovely You've wanted a particlar breed which is fair enogh and tried hard to go down the rescue route which hasn't worked out - what's to worry about! Lottie will have a lovely home with yo I'm sure But please let us in on the secret of what breed she is!!!

  21. Awww Cherry I have nothing to add bt wanted to send her and Spike big I'm sre from what others have said, she'll be fine with the right management
  22. She is gorgeous Very pretty You can take dogs to spectate at agility shows but you need to go to the secretarys tent and sign a declaration to say your dog hasn't been in contact with infectious diseases and suchlike! Beware thogh, the show will be heaving with lots of very hyped up dogs! Have fun
