  15. My first three all came from Sheya Ash came first in 2003 - found wandering the streets as a tiny puppy and then came to us from a foster home at 5 months. This is her last summer Then Ellie who had been in several homes then dumped in the pound at Christmas 2004 The night she arrived, lying with Bertie (foster) And last summer And then Lucy in 2005 - left to stray by her owner once she was too old to race/hunt for him. Before And enjoying the snow this week Pippa was from Limerick Animal Welfare (was Flicka) - she was brought over in October last year but when her home didn't work out due to her abject terror of strangers (particularly men and youths) we offered to foster her Before And at the weekend enjoying a family day out in the snow And running with Ash and Ellie

  18. Thanks Jackysian Hiya Mandy - didn't know you wos here! Ruby is a foster from Limerick Animal Welfare via Jill - looks like she's found a home this week though....gonna miss her And thanks again, Claz - looks like they're going to get her spayed
  19. I love them all in different ways because they are all so different. However, I have more of a connection with Ellie than any other dog I have ever had. I know people who meet us and know that I foster wonder why of all the dogs, I kept her She is very bald (especially in the winter), nervy, and it has been said that she runs a little like a squashed frog But they don't know her. She may not be the most beautiful of my dogs, nor the most obedient, nor does she like strangers and I can't take her out near traffic, but when she looks at me it is with complete love and trust - I am the most important thing in her world and she needs me. She cuddles up and will lie with her head on my knee all night - to Ellie it is more important to be with me than to be comfortable
