I don't know if any of you remember Connie my lovely snooty blonde lurcher, as I don't post here much any more, but she sadly left us yesterday She was at least 13...maybe older, as she never looked young bless her, and was responsible for sucking me into the world of greyhound and lurcher rescue/fostering/fundraising. She has a lot to answer for and we will miss her terribly Keep chasing those rabbits Con xxx
  2. There are a few of us asking around the Wirral area...hope they get sorted

    Cairn Terriers

Thanks for that...I have already printed it off to give to her today, but it sets my mind at rest that there aren't any glaring issues that I have missed! Thanks mandy
  6. Hi peeps My friend has decided to buy a Cairn puppy. I have tried to persuade her re rescue but she has made her mind up that she wants a pup (small children etc) and has located a local breeder with some newborn pups. I have offered to go with her when she goes to view and choose her pup, and she has had a thorough phone interrogation by the breeder already! I am pretty confident about what to ask generally to suss out the quality of the breeder, but am just wondering if there are any Cairn specific things I should be enquiring about. I am a GSD/lurcher/large crossbreed sort of person and have little terrier experience, so any advice would really be welcomed. Thanks in advance Mandy
  7. I agree with lots of previous comments...need to chat for a while to weed out the ones who just want a quick shag, and the pervs! I have kissed a few frogs recently, but have found a lovely chap on Plentyoffish . I think its safer than meeting up on a night out, as u have chance to chat when ur both sober, and suss each other out before you meet up. Plentyoffish is free, as is freedating....I have met a couple of guys from both, and am favouring plentyoffish at the moment!!
  8. If it's any consolation.....very few anti-biotics actually react badly with booze so check the label...if it doesn't actually say avoid alcohol on the tabs, you can get away with a little drink!...don't go mad though! Hopefully tabs will kick in soon and u will feel much better x
  9. Got to be the NHS....has it's problems, but the job security is sooo valuable right now plus the pension etc Might not be your perfect job....but perfect job might only last 6 months
  10. Happy Birthday Rick...hope its a good one!
  11. I have a colleague who is diabetic....if he's being moody we give him a biccy...works a treat!
