Pooch is a westie so that may be a clue. The latest is there might be a forever home for her and I have just spoken to the people concerned I will be doing a home check sometime this weekend and taking Poochie Pickles with me as well. Does anyone know if i need to take my passport to get into Scotland... Only kidding would post a pic but don't know how to on here thanks again for your replies

  16. Can anyone please help. My long term foster dog was returned to me after 5 days in her new home, this means I am back up to 3 dogs in the house and I am going on my one and only holiday in 18 days time. A fellow fugee has kindly offered to take my Archie (thanks, you know who you are) but can't take Pooch. Cliffy (my mini daxi) hopefully will be sorted soon as another friend may be able to take him for the week and spoil him rotten. Pooch is a 9 year old westie, very sweet natured, has about 15% vision but is not house trained. Subsequently she wee's frequently in the house if left alone or unnatended, bumps into the furniture a lot but is really great to have around. She is un-neutered as far as we can tell. Dog friendly in the house but not keen on them outside when she is on a lead - she growls a warning (I think this is something to do with her lack of vision) Pooch walks well on a lead but cannot be let off the lead ever as she can't see the edge of the pavement or even knows how dangerous a road is (as she frequently tries to turn 90 degrees right and straight into the road) She snuggles up on the couch and sleeps a lot of the time. I need her to go to a home where she won't be left alone for too long and be with someone dog experienced who can forgive her little foibles, after all, I've been doing this for 4 months and just get on with this. If anyone can help me for a week I will be eternally grateful. All food/bedding provided and I will return the favour whenever I can, or make a donation to the chosen charity/rescue of your choice. I am willing to travel up to 100 miles for this special little lady of mine, I'm in Cheshire between Macclesfield and Stockport. Please PM me if you can, or if you know someone who can help and I will call or email back Thank you all.. Nige. PS Mods, if this is in the wrong place please remove and let me know where I need to post...
  17. Great pics caroline, and good to meet up some people after being on here for a while Thats my Archie (The Casanova or maybe I will nickname him Sir Humps-a-lot) He certainly had a twinke in his eye yesterday.. They all slept in the car on the way home and the snoring coming from the back seat was quite funny to hear, funny but they slept all evening as well, only just managed to get them in the garden for a quick tinkle before they all went back to bed.
  18. great news and great pics too Not normally a yorkie fan, but every so often I see one that is just adorable (2 in 2 days - must be on a roll)
