Got warning light on car yesterday. Check coolant. Engine temperature was rising. Usual garage couldn't look at it until 14 April and next one I tried was not until 22 April. Phoned a third one who said probably just needs topped up, pop in when you are passing and I will check it. Went in this morning and in less than 5 minutes coolant topped up at no charge.

Another month, another hope for the future. Baby is now called henry. You are loved and special, dont forget it xxxxx

It is rather cold today. Car frozen thisa morning but the sun did shine for a short time. Thankfully, no snow here. Have just collected 4 reservations from the library so I've got enough reading to keep me occupied.

Your new life begins now, little one. Had a spurt of energy this orning and steamed clean the floors, vacuumed the rug , swept the front doorstep and washed dwon the door and surround. 4 jerseys washed and hung out. Dog out with the dog walkers so I am now having a cup of tea and a scone.

got food and snacks im allowed. followed the lady with the reduced stuff and took most of it, cereal, tinned stuff, very happy

We are okay. Fed up with this weather. Autumn is settling in but where was summer? Just waiting for the dog walker to take Harry out. On Tuesday he would not get out of the van for Joy, he wanted David ! He loves going out with them to new places and new adventures.

my sons birthday on the 19th

Very warm day here. It has beena good week so far. Any rain has been overnight. Harry had his first walk woth the dog walker today. They were very complimentary on his behaviour. Said he was the easiest dog they had had. He went off with his tail high , without a care. Lovely to see.

got washing and cleaning done. just sold nappies so a bit of room in a box I can fill meeting my friend at the toby the 19th. I have the gammon and turkey, wrapped in yorkshire pudding, comes with roast potatoes, ruddy lovely

Hope he gets better soon. It is a worry whenb they are small. Another warm day after the thick fog this morning cleared away. Had a nice walk. Washing out in the sunshine. Going out to the Toby for dinner later for grandson's birthday.

Very blustery with heavy shosers here but not so cold. Hopefully, Christmas shoping all done Going to family on Christmas Day but have everybody here for Boxing Day dinner. Good news ,owl Refuge playing up again but managed to sort it. Son and DIL arriving tomorrow from Romania. At least the weather is a bit warmer. it has been 2/3 degrees all week but managed 8 degrees today.

Another dry. sunny day here. Cleared out my raised bed yesterday. Plants had got toobig and straggly. Last day today for garden waste uplift until March, so had to get it done. Will restock it in the spring.

My blood pressure and pulse rate have come down on a low dose of ACE inhibitor, glad it's working. I certainly feel better. Not going far today or tomorrow, high winds and falling branches.

Three warm , dry days must be record for this summer. Three more mats scrubbed, brown bin for garden rubbish scrubbed out and now drying out. Got invited to family for impromtu buffet dinner. Very welcome on this muggy afternoon- saved me cooking.

Very warm here- two dasy running, we are spoiled. Just had a coffee but think I should have had a cold drnk as I am so hot my specs are misting up on my face. Went mad this morning and steam cleaned the floors then washed the mat for the kitchen floor. Is is hung over the fence to dry now. I t is a differernt colour now it is clean!
