zico's mum Posted August 7, 2011 Report Share Posted August 7, 2011 What a disaster this was Just got set up,first class had started and we had a monsoon break,was absolutely horrendous,lasted for several minutes as well.Sadly a lot of people left the show then,it did clear up for a while then down it came again,stopped for a while - long enough for the gazebo to dry out then we had the whole works,thunder lightning and another monsoon.Needless to say takings weren't anything to shout about - just £41.00.Almost didn't make it home as the roads were flooded in a couple of places rain was so heavy,then sun came out so was able to continue.Got home in sunshine,took 1 load into house leaving Duncan and Trixie in car then heavens opened again,decided to leave them there as didn't think anyone was going to steal them in that weather .Not a great day by any means.Hopefully will be better for next show.
