zico's mum Posted September 4, 2010 Report Share Posted September 4, 2010 another lovely show,well attended and good fun.I roped in the services of a friend who is staying with me and we made £92.80. Weather was lovely and I hadn't realised (although it's on my doorstep) the variety of animals West Hatch takes in,Duncan and Trixie were mesmerised by the ferrets and despite our stall being right in front of the cattery behaved themselves impeccably. This is the last stall I'll be doing this summer,just done a quick total and from 6 shows have raised £436.58 - and much more awareness of Oldies Club in the South West - I hope.I've really enjoyed every show and have got to know folks from 2 local rescues St Giles and Last Resort quite well now as we've been next to each other at a few shows - an unexpected bonus.Roll on 2011 for more shows,if anyone is thinking of doing one I promise you will enjoy yourselves,meet some amazing dogs and some lovely people too. Running a stall is blimmin hard work, so the fact that you have done so many on your own is a real testament to your dedication (and patience!).
