Greygal Posted September 2, 2010 Author Report Share Posted September 2, 2010 I am sorry to have to let you all know that beautiful Bess has moved on to the Bridge . With all her medical problems, the vet felt that her quality of life was not good enough to let her struggle on any longer and she passed away peacefully. She was a lovely old girl and I am so sorry that we will not see her go happily off to a new home as we had hoped. Rest peacefully Bess. We will not forget you. Poor Bess, it would have been better all round if her owner had taken the last decision for her, but I'm very glad that she did at least have her foster carer looking out for her right to the end. WendyC Posted September 2, 2010 Report Share Posted September 2, 2010 Quite honestly I'm amazed and heartbroken by this news - having transported her she certainly didn't give the impression of a poorly dog and I am 100% sure that the owner had no idea she was so ill.
