ranirottie Posted March 30, 2010 Report Share Posted March 30, 2010 on March the 20th we gaily set sail,well in the car actually,for Devon for a weeks break in our caravan. We keep it down there on a farm and are usually lucky to have a small field of our own. the dogs think its great and can run free as long as I am there to keep an eye on them. ranirottie Posted March 30, 2010 Author Report Share Posted March 30, 2010 it poured with rain practically every minute that we were there but the dogs still enjoyed it.Miffi found a great way of keeping herself warm and used the kindly Kizzy as a comfy bed at every opportunity! ranirottie Posted March 30, 2010 Author Report Share Posted March 30, 2010 and a sunbathe for the half an hour that the sun actually came out! it was so wet that the groundsheet sank into the mud so we had to buy a tarpaulin to keep it dry for the dogs! Here is the view from where i sit to eat my breakfast etc. On that hill are horses,sheep(and lambs) rabbits,pheasants and the occasional fox. so altho the heavens opened and the car had to be towed out of the mud by the farmer we still had a good time.
