Mrs Mop Posted November 6, 2009 Report Share Posted November 6, 2009 I always put colloidial silver on any bites I get, I used it on Joe when Gracie took a chunk out of his leg as well, never had any infection. As it progressed I'd probably have sought medical help sooner bust I must initially I'd probably have done exactly the same as him & thought little of it. I wonder whether it was the combination of fishing / dirty water & the bite rather than the bite alone which allowed infection to set in for this poor man. I think his wifes attitude is great - poor dog probably just wonders what has happened to "Dad" - yet also brave in some ways - as she'll have a constant reminder of what happened.
