Houndwoman Posted October 24, 2008 Report Share Posted October 24, 2008 We had to have our dear old Rupert Pussycat pts recently as he had a tumour in his stomach and as he was 22 years old surgery was out of the question We kept him going as long as possible but could see when he had given up so we let him go to the Bridge as he was getting tired of this life. He came to live here 21 years ago after Mike ran him over He was driving to the vets' with a very sick dog and Rupert ran out into the main road and he hit him He picked him up and took him to the vets' who fixed him after he had a fractured pelvis and vertebrae. Mike traced his owners and they didn't want him back because they didn't want to pay the bill Mike brought him home to live here with the rest of the menagerie.
