We had to have our dear old Rupert Pussycat pts recently as he had a tumour in his stomach and as he was 22 years old surgery was out of the question :( We kept him going as long as possible but could see when he had given up so we let him go to the Bridge as he was getting tired of this life.

He came to live here 21 years ago after Mike ran him over :( He was driving to the vets' with a very sick dog and Rupert ran out into the main road and he hit him :(

He picked him up and took him to the vets' who fixed him after he had a fractured pelvis and vertebrae.

Mike traced his owners and they didn't want him back because they didn't want to pay the bill :grrr:

Mike brought him home to live here with the rest of the menagerie. He has had a lovely long life I know but we miss him so much as he had the most fantastic personality and was very much a 'people cat'

Play happy at the Bridge Ginger Boy and have fun with all your old pals :lily:
