Introducing Poppy

Poppy has been with me for nearly 4 months now. When she first came to me, she was very overweight, and could not walk for more than 15 mins without having to lie down, and everything was too exhausting for her.

So I put her on a diet, and slowly started to increase the amount of exercise she was getting. We were starting to make progress on this, when after her being here for a month she was diagnosed with Pyometra, so had to go in for an emergency spay.

I am pleased to say that she has fully recovered, her weight is down, and she now enjoys her 2 hours of walks, well runs really, she never stops, a day.

She will be 11 in July, and I can not believe how active she now is, she tries her very hardest to keep up with my younger three dogs. lol

I can not believe how well and quickily she has settled into her new life here, and she gets on well with all the dogs, cats and my son. She is a complete dream to have.

Here are so pics of her.
