Few times have I been shocked more than when I read the story and the video link above. These boys did not just kidnap, torture and murder a puppy, they violated the heart of everyone who heard the story. There is no sentence for what they did; if they are not punished, we all collectively share the guild. Sadly, I find no compassion for them in me. There is a petition open for the prosecution of these people here : Petition We cannot do anything for Tobey, but perhaps we can voice our protest in a part of the world that could have known better and raised children to respect animals. They wouldn't have done it if they had any remorse, compassion or any human feelings at all. Every time I hear of a case of animal abuse, my immediate thought is: "potential future murderers practising".
