So sorry the news wasn't better, I've read recently about a herb called Essiac which is supposed to be good in the fight against cancer and know of someone on another list who's dog has so far lived for another 18 months when the vet thought he might make 8-12 weeks more, his owner swears by Essiac.

You can read about it here http://www.ivanfraser.com/articles/health/essiac_info.html

You can get it from Wellspring Herbal http://www.ivanfraser.com/articles/health/....html#Suppliers

Hope this is helpful to you and all the very best for Mal.

I've just ordered this but from Savant in Leeds :) It's been recommended to me by a friend whose dog has llived for many more years than the prognosis was, so it's got to be good.

The funny thing is, Mal seems livelier than he's been for a while. He was really turning into an older dog, and you should see his cheeky face now! Obviously, if he's not thinking of packing it in just yet, then there's no way that that's gonna happen any time soon! (he's royalty, remember? Anything he says goes! :D)

I'm so sorry to hear it's not better news, as I said before I got 7 mnths with Celeste when she was diagnosed and that was about 5 mnths more than the vet expected and that was from a very early detected cancer, it was that aggressive,so the point being if Mal's is a slow un' you could be looking at over a year of good health or even more, and always remember, he dosn't know there's anything wrong with him, as far as he's concerned it's buisness as usual .

If you are using any oils I would suggest he is fed these with cottage cheese, apparantly it isn't well absorbed on it's own .
