Â Danny has degenerative problems with his nerve system, causing the loss of control of his back legs and general co-ordination. Â We have had a couple of options given us and we have gone for the route most suited to Danny's enjoyment of life. Â From this evening he has a course of steroids to take, these may or may not work. It's a case of wait and see. Â Our vet was concerned with the drastic change in Danny over a few days and being realistic, we know that we are talking weeks rather than months. Â As long as those weeks are happy for him, that is all we can ask for. After all it's his comfort and life quality we are talking about, not our own selfish idea of keeping him with us for as long as possible. Â His tail is still wagging and he has tried to have a play with Pierce, but ended up falling over. Â If the 'wag' continues, so will Danny.
