dawnhughes
Talacre didn't know what hit it this morning when members from both dogs-life and the refuge descended upon it! In total we had 23 dogs (yes TWENTY THREE!!) of all ages, shapes and sizes ! Considering the numbers all the dogs behaved fantastically and I don't think there was any squabbles between them at all. I had a lovely time today and it was lovely to meet all the new faces (both human and doggie ). Despite the wind Talacre was out of this world and lovely and clean. I could happily spend all day there as it looked to just go on FOREVER! I was especially over the moon today with my two dogs & extremely suprised how well Codie coped considering this was quite an overwhelming situation for any dog never mind a 4mth relatively unsocialised poopie! Both are now shattered! Right heres a selection of my photos... Just a few dogs  Skye a converted water babe Codie not so (she did everything to avoid the water ) :P Do you think Skye was having fun??? Codies fave buddie.. little Jem After a lunch break at the local chippy a lot of us went on to Greenfields valley walk. Again the dogs had a ball and behaved like angels!! JACKYSIAN
I had a lovely time thanks, shame I couldn't come onto the next walk but still managed to wear out all 4 (yes 4 even Sidney was tired!!!) on the beach! I love the group shot!! Brilliant picture!! The dogs were amazing, can't believe how well they got on! Tiz and Henry's continuing dislike of each other was the blot on the landscape!!! one.eyed.dog
I just had the best weekend. I love the photos of the dog statues. Are'nt they life like Poor Lucy slept all the way home and did not move. She got in, had her tea and put herself to bed. She just dawdled round on her walk this morning then went back to bed after breakfast. No lameness though so that is really good. (For those that don't know her she is falling to bits) Ellie x

Yes its not far from Rhyll Its a wonderful beach for dogs as it goes for miles when the tide is out and even if its in you can walk in the DUNES I had a lovely time thanks, shame I couldn't come onto the next walk but still managed to wear out all 4 (yes 4 even Sidney was tired!!!) on the beach! I love the group shot!! Brilliant picture!! The dogs were amazing, can't believe how well they got on! Tiz and Henry's continuing dislike of each other was the blot on the landscape!!! I didn't get to say goodbye before you left Jacky. I had locked myself in the car with chips lol. I had forgotten that Tiz and Henry didn't like each other you would never had known she was an angel.
