  1. I know you think they are pricey but I have used Fast Track ( Lyn Fleet) and she is absolutely fantastic. You'd be hard pushed to find a better behaviourist to be honest. It really is worth the money if you can somehow find that little bit extra.
  2. Have just e mailed them, have told them if i hear the advert again I'll be turning off for good ( even though i don't actually listen to them anyway!)
  3. I've been there and no you don't get to see mum and dad. The pups are bred elsewhere & brought in. They are behind glass doors in a room thats no more than 3foot by 6foot. They are there all day and night with no stimulation./excercise at all. A friend of a friend used to work there, they buy in the pups for £50 & are sold for £500. thanks for this, I'll be complaining to them!
  4. I agree. I'm not the slightest bit surprised to be honest, she's way too thick to realise what a puppy needs With all her money she could have paid for help from a decent dog trainer and paid for someone to come in and walk it she could even have had a section of her house specifically for the puppy.

  6. oooh no!!!!!!! It should be good that she was reunited with her family but considering that they left her like that in the first place it's so not good I only hope they have learned a valuable lesson and never do anything so stupid again
  7. aw am so so glad yo have taken her in. Well done you
  8. I do not think you are over reacting whatsoever. There is absolutely no excuse for this, anything could happen to this dog whilst tied up. Well done for looking after it, I too would try the RSPCA.
  9. And here is a pic of Billy on mummys bed . Show cockers have more coat & therefore more grooming. Billy is in need of a trip to the groomers in this pic, he's a bit scruffy with a big top knot
  10. Cockers are fabulous dog and I don't regret getting my Billy for a second. They are cute and gorgeous but they are also strong willed dogs that need owners to be consistent. They also need a fair amount of excercise, I know if billy hasn't had a good decent hour and half a day he's a bit hyper in the house. I like to give him 2-3 hours per day ideally. Having said that i know cocker owners whose dogs are happy with just one hour per day. Not forgetting there are two very different types of cocker, show & working. Rage is very very very rare so I wouldn't even let that be a factor in my decision. I think it's quite irresponsbile for a rescue to make such a statement against a breed There is a great cocker website too:- www.cockersonline.co.uk There is a rescue section on there too.
  11. Oh wow what fantastic photos! The dogs are all just beautiful Is it north Wales??
  12. Hi Donna , Nice to see you too
