AlTRPD Posted September 19, 2007 Author Report Share Posted September 19, 2007 We have had several requests for help and support from rescues around the country, where many things are needed this autumn and now the colder weather is here. They need everything from bedding and blankets to coats, raincoats, collars, harnesses and leads for the many dogs in their care. In order to raise the funds to provide these items, we need to spread the word far and wide about all the lovely items currently available for sale in our sales forums at: Flash & Grab Sales Recently Nik and I introduced some multi-packs of items that are ideal for multi-dog owners of those looking for gifts for pet owning pals or rescues and at discounted prices. We also have a variety of coats and raincoats to offer members in a range of individual or unusual colours and designs that cannot necessarily be repeated. More of those are being added to the list on an almost daily basis, so worth keeping an eye on that. Ali, Viv, Amy and the sales team are busy on individual item sales, and this month the sales team (representing The Doris Banham Sanctuary) are competing against the production team (representing Tailends) in a challenge to see which team can sell the most individual items to win a bonus prize for their represented rescue. Amy also has several projects in the pipeline on behalf of specific rescues that need a little extra help for the animals in their care and listed at: Special Projects as they become current. At present, it is a small Yorkshire Terrier Rescue that is featured, and desperate for some help. Please visit the PCP forum and, if possible, support one or more of the above. AlTRPD Posted October 10, 2007 Author Report Share Posted October 10, 2007 There are a few rather lovely, luxurious faux sheepskin dog coats becoming available at the moment - a gorgeous dark chocolate outers in faux velveteen suede and with warm cream bonded fleece inside. Various styles and sizes, but if anyone needs a size/style not yet listed, there is still enough left on the roll to make a few more up to order. Once this fabric has been used up, there won't be anymore, though. These coats could be made showerproof with an application of the spray-on water-proofing stuff available in shoe and camping stores, too.
