Was reading the dog quote thread and it got me thinking. I am single through choice. Have had 2 seroius relationships and after the last one ended I decided men where just too much of an effort for me to be bothered with. But, no matter how much crap and inconvenience my dogs put me through I will always have one. I'm sure I'm not the only one.

The Rudyard Kipling one about being beware of giving your heart to a dog to tear. Someome uses it as a signature.

I'd go back and find my Lucy as a pup so she wouldn't have lost her eye. I'd stay where I live and go back 10 years at a time and wander round and see how the place changed.

How about a normal black kitchen bin. Thats what I use. Am rather taken with the tesco one.

I have also learnt that less is more where speaking is concerned. I now use a whistle and hand signals. I find she responds far better. ACME whistles are for gundogs but I trained a lurcher to one easily.

Jim took me hunting with his dogs as he thought that might be her thing. She learns very quickly. Lottie is from working deer stalker parents so she stalks naturally. We have got to the point where she paces herself to my footsteps and if I stop she stops. She will work brilliantly on her own but throw another dog in and it gets silly unless all the dogs are there to work properly then shes dead good. I found that Jim explaining what and why your dog is doing what it's doing when it does it helps greatly. He shows you how to deal with a situation.

Obviouly the hoovering and ironoing is not an option. She is a gundog so when I get in from work she has to bring me something. Her thing is a sock. I put a sock in the machine and she got it out. She then rifled through and got all the other socks out. She would not touch any of the other stuff though. I just thought she might like doing a wee job but, she appears to like her bed better. She does get a lot of exercise so I guess shes happy enough.

The fit bloke was "Scoobydoby" I remember him coming on here after being on holiday and finding he had aquired quite a harem.

Also. A good tattooist should have a waiting list. I think you should go at least half as big again as Laura says. Look at his portfolio and see his past work. My tattooist is in Macclesfield .Skin Creations. £60 an hour. My hare was 5 hours in 2 sessions. If you are not 110% sure you want one do not get one. Hope this helps. Ellie

I use nappy rash cream. Most of it flaked off after my bath tonight so, it's just the scab on his chest. It didn't hurt, nipped a bit on the flabby bits. My right foot killed but, I couldn't feel anything when he did my left foot. You must almost have a body suit now Laura. Cat Von D the 2nd. Yours are nicer though. Are you having any more mermaids? It's up my side Laura. About 9" high Am having to wear floaty dresses that don't touch my side at the moment as there is quite a big scab on his chest area. Have yours scabbed much? The 1st session was okay but, I think because he was doing the detail and going over the same area more than once it's scabbed.
