  1. Thanks for the local information I went to a great camping shop in Newport today, and bought 2season sleeping bags
  2. I hope your dad has a good result
  3. (this is my bit, dont seem to be able to do quotes today!)
  4. After the disaster of last years trip, we are setting off with a 6 person tent, to try again. I need advice about sleeping bags. We have camp beds (which I know are colder than airbeds because of the air), would sleeping bags which cope with -5 degrees be ok? We are going to Cornwall for the last 2 weeks of July. After last years freezing night on a deflating air bed, I dont want to be cold. I hope someone can help with advice.
  5. John Barrowman is the lead in the panto in the New Theatre this Christmas, - Robin Hood, so lots of tights
  6. It makes me feel really sad for you that you wish you had never been born. I wish you did not feel this way.
  7. Lovely to see you back Claz
  8. No ideas, but I would get it checked out at the docs
  9. Cotswold (the camping/clothing one, not furnishure) have a web site, and have a "rock bottom" section with reductions on clothing and shoes/boots.
  10. I was 50 last week, but my life has'nt changed!
  11. Wishing you a great birthday
  12. I have been thinking of buying a wii. How good is the wii fit?. I go to a gym for 3 half hour sessions per week, using resistance type machines. I have been going for over a year and am very bored. I was wondering if the wii fit was effective.
  13. You deserve your special day
  14. Thank you Have had a lovely day so far, off for a meal tonight with my family.
  15. Until last night I have always voted Labour. I am so digusted with the expenses scandal and the way the unvoted Brown has handled things I voted Green party tonight. I considered voting for Plaid Cymru, but as I dont speak Welsh, I wont vote for a party which would class me as a second class citizen. ps I always vote as I think of the suffragettes and what they did to secure the vote for women!
  16. for you. Sending you good thoughts.
  17. I cried when I read it (aged about 10) I read the whole Foresyth saga, starting when I was 11.
  18. I dont know what to say Cher
  19. I have this at the moment (my iron count is 10 as well). I have to take 3 iron tablets per day for 3 mths, then I have to have another blood test to see if the iron levels are ok. My symptoms were being vvv tired (in bed at 9 every night), I thought the tirednes was a sympton of the menopause! If you do have to take this much iron constapation may be a side effect
  20. If the grammar school can organise a timetable which suits you, I would take that post. It is so wearing to deal with disruptive behaviour day after day. As a teacher you are paid to teach not to be worn out with endless crowd control issues. In the end you will feel so fed up and worn out that you will start to hate teaching. Just think how lovely it would be to teach your own subject and not have the hassel of the problems you are expereincing now. I started my teaching career being very idealistic, but now when I go to a school with children who actually want to learn and have basic manners, it it a pleasure to teach them.
  21. Congratulations to the new family
  22. Off to make my second pot of tea.
  23. Always have a huge mug of tea, if I have time I have some toast, or if time is short I have a banana whilst driving to work.
