  1. Alex Have been away at an event this weekend. It was really windy and poured down and we camped so didnt really get much sleep. Last night got back home and got up at 11.20 only because Louie wanted out I was quite happy to go back to sleep. Got a bag of teddies from freecycle so day off has been worth it.

  5. I groom dogs that need their ears plucked - Bichons, Schnauzers etc and have a pair of forceps or use my fingers to pull the hair out. Using a powder such as Thornits helps to grip the hair. It does sound like Pierce's hair myabe further down the ear canal than I would dare to prob bless him.

  20. 28 August · 11:00 - 14:00 Location Cyril Hart Arboretum, Forest of Dean Closest postcode is for Speech House GL16 7EL. Turn off the B4226 (Speech House Road) at the House and follow road approx 200m you will see sign for the Arboretum.
  21. 02 October · 12:00 - 15:00 Location Ogmore-by-Sea, Bridgend, CF32 0PD Doggy walk at Ogmore beach. We park in the Rivermouth car park which has the postcode CF32 0PD and costs £1 to park for 12 hours from 1st October. Everybody welcome so please crosspost and share where you will :o) NB. The time is subject to change once we can access the tide times, but this won't be until 7 days before. It'll probably only change an hour either way though as we can still walk if it's high tide, but will be a bit more restricted. It would be nice to walk on he lovely beach though.
  22. 11 September · 12:00 - 15:00 Brean Sands is a lovely, wide open beach space for dog walking. Dogs are welcome all year round with no restrictions (YAY!). It costs about £2.50 to park on the beach and there is usually a van there selling drinks, chips and other hot food so bring money if you're going to be buying (the chips are lovely). Brean Sands is about 5 miles off of junction 22 of the M5. A nearby postcode is TA8 2RP. This is for Warren Farm campsite, but you continue on down the road a little way past Warren Farm (which will be on your right) until you see the big sign pointing left for the beach car park :o) You need to park actually on the beach and we usually turn left and park somewhere there, not too far up from the entrance.
