  1. Hi Sam, i did post some piccies, but will post some up to date ones soon i bought it from Halfords, so yeah i could nip down there and ask for their opinion, didnt think of that. I personally cant see anyway the straps can be extended, unless i am missing something?? Theyre not folded over or anything? going to whizz down to halfords now and see what they think
  2. Im sorry i dont post much these days, but having a baby seems to take up so much time. Im in need of some advice regarding the above car seat if anyone has one. I bought this car seat for my little boy Cameron, And he's now 11 weeks old. The problem is that the straps are too small. Im struggling to get him in it and having to bend his arms around to get him in. Hes not a big baby, weighing around 11-12lb (getting weighed tomorrow) Ive emailed Graco so i await their response, but i wondered if anyone else has had the same problem?? I really hoped it would last till he was at least 6 months old then i would buy another as to be honest i dont really have the finances to fork out for another one at this precise moment. Any opinions would be gratefully received. Thankyou
  3. I downloaded chrome this afternoon, but couldnt get on with it at all. Ive just downloaded IE8,2. Anyone else using that? The problems with IE seem to be mainly with IE7.
  4. sorry Phoenix, totally forgot about this thread. (that what having a baby does to you). Ill ask my mechanic friend this morning and get back to you this afternoon about it :0) ETA: THIS MAY HELP Looking at that link, it seems the newer engines are no longer VW *I think thats what its saying anyway*
  5. I think they are teething alot younger these days! Cameron is now 9 weeks and already he's started with the drooling and nagging on everything he can. My first daughter had her first tooth at 12 weeks!! Hope Cady's face is clearing up now and feeling less sore
  6. oooooh poor little poppet. I use the pop over the head bibs for Cameron, but thankyou for the warning i will make sure i check any that have got velcro in future
  7. I love my Galaxy for the space reasons. I have 4 children and a Boxer, and can fit them all in with no problems. The only thing is with mine, ive had loads of problems. The turbo blew up which in turn flooded the exhaust system, so a nice £1200 bill. It also has no end of elecrical problems, which are going to cost me a fortune to get fixed. But saying that, the engine part (mechanically) is absolutely sound! Ive got the 1.9TDI Ghia, and i have to admit, if i was to buy another car, it would be another Galaxy. p.s Make sure you get the VW engine and not the Seat engine! (they are slightly different apparently and the seat engine is more expensive to fix!)
  8. So very sorry Kathy Sleep well Seth
  9. My word Wendy where has the time gone??????? She's grown up so quick!! It only seems like yesterday when you were telling the news that you were pregnant! She's a stunning little girl and a credit to you xxx

  13. If your KW/h price was 19p per kw, and you used your oil filled rad for 60 hours per month, i worked it out to cost about £20 per month. (thats on a 1.5kw rad.) Hope that helps a little. Im sure someone with a bit more knowledge will come along soon and be of more help than i am LOL
  14. Well am still here :0( Not a happy bunny as im so uncomfortable and exhausted. booked in for induction on 2nd October if nothing happens before then. Thankyou again for all your kind wishes xx
  15. Sounds like a classic case of glue ear! I have it and i used to have infections constantly as a kid (i also have eczema on my ear drums) The only thing they can do is grommits, but according to my docs they dont do this anymore as glue ear usually clears itself up by the time the patient turns 18. afraid i cant suggest anything other than what you are doing, calpol and neurofen. The hopi candles should NOT be used on anyone who suffers ear infections or possible glue ear. I'd say if it gets worse, take her back to the docs as ear infections are agony sending get well wishes to Daisy xxx
  16. Thankyou everyone. Back at the hosp in the morning to see if we can get things moving along a bit! so impatient now, bags by the door, car seat in and fixed, clothes hung waiting LOL. thankyou again for your well wishes, they are gratefully received xx
  17. Well, where has the time gone................... i am now 39 +6 weeks, and this little man is due tomorrow But knowing my luck he'll decide he's not coming out until forced too please would you be so kind as to send "hurry up out baby" thoughts. sorry i dont post very often anymore, i have bad SPD (where the pubic bones move or something) and i find it really hard to sit for very long at the computer. So sending hugs, sympathies, good thoughts etc to all who may need one of the previous
  18. A pampering gift set sounds fab! ( wish i had friends like you!) also how about a photo sitting session? You can buy packages at somewhere like pixiphoto (some mothercare stores have them as a permanent fixture)they cost about £20 ish
  19. I love my drying balls, and i must say yes they do cut down the drying time. Not by loads but its cut mine down by about 20 mins. Also i have no need for fabric conditioner anymore as all my clothes come out lovely and soft. Agree with Terri about the dogs running off with them! Mine went missing one day, i hunted high and low and eventually found them chewed and dumped in the flower pot behind the garage thanks to Chance! LOL

    Yahoo

yahoo's been having these problems for quite a while. One way i found is to delete all your history and temp files then try logging in. failing that, if you go to the community section of yahoo, go to reply to one of teh questions , it will ask you to log in, and that usually works for me
  21. I LOVE that outfit Any chance you make them to sell?? My fourth baby is due a week on Monday and the first person i want to see is my mum. I personally love having loads of visitors as it means i can sit and relax while they all make the cups of tea Hope you get to see your grandchild soon xx
  22. I'm in Lincoln, but if Jules is able to take stumpy then it would be better (as i am 9 months pregnant!) , but if she didnt have room then he could come here no problem
  23. sorry mel, am not Jules, but wanted to say ive got room here for another Gecko if you need somewhere for it to go. I would need to organise transport though as im on bedrest by order of the kind doctor at hospital (grrr).
  24. yep, definately a ring by the sounds of it. I had my french lop ringed ready for showing, but after she jumped into her hay rack and ripped her leg due to the ring, i decided it wasnt worth keeping it on due to the harm it could cause. definatley worth getting it removed
