I don't know what your budget is but there are some sales on in the following places Simply Be, Marisota, sorry I don't know what age you are but there's some nice stuff at 50 plus. Even if there's nothing there you want to buy they might give you ideas about what to look for. Terri

I'm not sure if there is anything in their tenancy agreement, I'll need to ask them. Lester the carpets were filthy when they moved in, my son's cleaned them once a month with my Bissell pro heat ( I know that it's not as good a professional one ), they also had to move the washing machine a couple of weeks ago because of a leak and there was rotten food under it, food that they haven't ever used there. They don't have animals in the flat and my pair have never even been for a visit, they've only lived there for 6 months but it's been a long 6 months for them. Thanks for your replies . Terri

Ewan my son, his oh and Cady are moving in with us soon so they can save some pennies, at the moment they are in a rented flat. The people who they are renting from have said that they must have the flat profesionally cleaned before leaving, the flat is spotless and the carpets have all just been cleaned by Ewan ( he's a clean freak ) , I'm sure that if the flat is left in the same condition or cleaner then they have nothing to worry about but his oh is stressing about it a wee bit. Can I ask if this is a common thing to have to do or are they a bunch of chancer's. I should say that the flat is in better condition now than when they moved in. Terri

Oh yes we do , her rendition of I'm nobody's child on the karaoke machine years ago had to be heard to be believed, even when thrown out of the room she held tightly on to the microphone so we could still hear her singing at the top of her voice. We did have a recording of it but one of my sons thought it was to cruel to inflict on others and he disposed of it. Terri

I'm really chuffed that her middle name is going to be Ailsa, I was telling my dad about them maybe calling her Charlotte and he said what after Etta ( his sister), here is me 53 years old and I've only found out that his sister is called Charlotte. Claire who's due her first baby and my third grandbrat in September had a check up last week, the midwife said the baby should be 33cm but was only 28cm so she had to go for a scan. Everything was fine and it's Claire that's not growing not the baby, she is exactly the right size, anyway Claire asked if she could have a picture of the scan and was given a couple. I've never seen one this far on in a pregnancy and it's amazing just how much detail you can see. She is really going to take after her dad and grandad judging by this one, it looks as if there is a ring pull just above her. So far the names Rebecca and Charlotte are favourites, her middle name is going to be Ailsa. Terri

Your right of course the councils must shoulder a lot of the blame for these place being the way they are but I'm sure I've read on forums that people have complained to the r.s.p.c.a. about them and nothings been done. I don't know if it's still going on but there was an early day motion going through parliament,I got in touch with my M.P. and he's signed it. Terri

I've just watched tonight's report and it's said that the r.s.p.c.a. are concerned and want to see all the footage ( something like that ), surely they can't pretend not to know about these places and what goes on in them or has it taken channel 5's report to make them think about doing something . We had a news letter from our local councillor a couple of months ago, he was moaning about the dog dirt in the park. I e-mailed him and told him that most of the dog dirt was left by people passing through and not locals, I then told him about all the glass and cans that the dog walkers picked up so people wouldn't get hurt, I also shoved in some pictures that I'd taken in the park and asked him what he was going to do about it, below are some of the pictures I sent him I pointed out to him that what is in the pictures could cause more harm to children than anything a dog owner could leave behind. He did say he was disgusted and he would see what he could do. Terri

I would be getting the dog owners to get in touch with the council about all these out of control teenagers, can we please have them banned from certain areas as we are frightened of them and the mess they leave behind ( Broken bottles, cans, used condoms ect. ) is disgusting. I'm not saying your area has these problems but fight fire with fire. Terri

They sent me out a new bag and I'm supposed to be sending the cat food back, don't know what they'll do with it seeing as I opened the bloody thing, the bags are nearly identical just a silhouette of a cat on the front instead of a dog. Terri

I'm another one that's piddled of with zooplus, the last order I got was cat food and not the dog food I ordered . I'm thinking of ordering it from the U.K. site, a guy in the park gets it from them and he gets in 24 hours. Terri
