  1. Great news - Bronte has found her new home - Good Luck Bronte
  2. I have just tried it and it opened ok for me - but will see if someone more technical than me can check it out. It is a word doc. if that helps at all!
  3. This is Bronte, she is such a darling! A small pale ginger girl, she has a 'wonky' gait due to having had a broken pelvis as a result of a road accident or from being kicked! She was never taken to a vets so the break did not heal properly. As a result every now and then her back legs collapse for a few seconds. It doesn't bother her and she is not unhappy because of it. She is an absolute sweetheart but needs to be a house cat - not going out at all, in a home with no other pets and where any children are older and able to understand the need to treat her a little gently. Bronte is currently in the Wolverhampton area so a home in or around that area would be ideal, but any area considered if its the right one for Bronte. All homes checked. If you are interested in Bronte please contact RSPCA Stafford, Wolverhampton and District Branch on 0845 053 0443 or pm me.

  8. You try this site www.charityjob.co.uk - its quite good.
  9. As she actually approached her local RSPCA branch? - they all have different guidelines I think, but I know that in these circumstances my local branch would give something towards it even if she is not on benefits, as long as the vet confirmed the situation. Her local branch may take a different view of course, but if she hasn't actually asked because she is not on benefits it may still be worth a try.
  10. Well done you and the dogs. Was it fun? it looks it

  15. Click me I am hoping I have managed to link this to the Promoting the Dogs thread in the Oldies General Chat forum. If any rescues (particularly in the Midlands area - but any area considered) have any older dogs, dogs who need to be homed together, dogs with medical / behavioural problems, or dogs that are just being overlooked for whatever reason, who are looking for homes, and would like some free promotion for them, please have a look at the thread. I just need some information on them and preferably a photo I can use, plus your permission, to able to promote them for you. Please have a look at the link, - if it hasn't worked its Promoting the Dogs in the Oldies Club General Chat Forum. Kate
  16. I have now collected the books back in ready to update them. I had a lot of positive feedback from the places where I had left them, they said people had shown a lot of interest. So I am now looking for information on new dogs to go into the books, and the rescues permission to put them in - criteria is older dogs, dogs that need to be homed together, medical / behavioural problems, or just been in rescue care for a long time and always overlooked. Any rescues who have suitable dogs and want them promoting please let me know asap (on here or PM)- particularly those in the Midlands area - but any area considered. I am hoping to distribute them again early next week. Oldies Club are there any particular dogs you would like put in? Cheers, Kate
