are you trying all the normal insomnia tricks to help you sleep?

morning all. chest is still bad still coughing alot. wish it would hurry up and sort itself out. RMF sun is shining through my window, its very nice

i go to bed listen to hubby snore and recently i wheeze a bit then get back up. see if anyone is on msn and read forums

ah well i am wide awake currently and i don't work so i think i will be here a while

so are you all insomniacs like me or is this just a special night

Elaine, i am glad you are feelign better. i think i have missed what has actually been going on for you. from the little i have picked up it sounds like our mothers were separated at birth. if phone calls get to you then a trick my therapist taught me was to imagine bouncing a tennis ball on yoru head. ignore what is being said as it really isnt important. you do sound like a nice human being. remember tho you are not alone as it sounds like you have people on here who care about you. also be assured that you can get to a place where you can deal with yoru family. i have.... just

ooooohhhh in that case our latest (4th time lucky) completion date is the 18th. so not long after that i can start my hunt for my first ever dog

i quite like the idea of sending her piccies of unwanted staff's in pounds. you could also send her the details of staffie rescues in england for her family to contact. or you could track her down and slap her senseless. good on you tho for being so polite

we go camping alot and have treated ourselves to a 8 man tent. airbed is a must (we have a king sized) and to cover it i use a normal fitted sheet. we take camping chairs and there is nothing like the taste of food/drink in the open air. sat around the campfire with your mates chatting. you dont drink and someone puts mulled wine on the fire and you suddenly realize you are giggling your tits off. that feeling when you are staring into the fire and you are warm and sleepy yet can't be assed to go to bed. camp site facilities are much better than they used to be. i have camped where there was no loo's at all and it wasnt to bad. sat watching the sun come up over the valley edge and hitting the river.... i miss it

i must admit i am surprised no one has mentioned my pet hate. people who abuse animals. children not being given the chance to be children the world in general

i think it depends on which form of diabeties it is. my husband has diatry controlled and can have sweet stuff but in moderation

my hubby wont even allow me to have him on the telly anymore, he says he cant stand the level my voice gets to and the language i hurl at the telly.

i don't know if this is any help but what if you put signs up around asking people not to feed her? then she would have to go into the trap?

i will join you in the thank gods its over. we are trying to buy a house and with everyone being on holiday its slowed things right up. we dont decorate our home and we spent xmas in a hotel. i guess when we have kids it will be different but for the moment i am glad its all over.

i dont own a dog yet but i am hoping to get a CKCS in the new year, need to train nothing i suppose apart from the basics. i would like to do more than basics simply because from what i have seen the dogs enjoy it.

i havent owned a dog before and i am looking for some good books to read. thanks in advance Love C
