  5. I have no words for anyone who would do this. There is NEVER any excuse So I'll save my words for Murphy, a handsome, kind, loving creature who now deserves the very best in life - and it looks like he will now get it. Including a big hug from me cos I know my hugs are some of the best He has got a lovely face!
  6. Oh, Bow My heart just melts when I see how she is doing. And my blummin' eyes still leak Thanks for the pics and videos Sam. She does look like a different dog on them. What a big heart and love can do for a creature, either human or animal, in such a short time, hey?

    Bow

This lovely old lady has stolen a little place in my heart, and I only know her through the threads about her. My eyes leak every time I come on here to read the updates. Bless her heart, and bless the magical Grandma Squiggs

    Bow

Words aren't adequate, so I'll just say well done to Helen and the Squirrels. Helen's determination has been incredible, and I know from personal experience how wonderful the Squirrels are It's lovely to know Bow is going to get the best of everything now, especially hugs and love. She'll never be lonely again. Despite all of her ailments, Bow is a very beautiful lady
  9. Fee, Cleasby is actually my nearest village! I often walk to there with Sorrel. Would be great if it had a pub!
  10. Thank you all It's lovely to have such a warm welcome. Maggi, your girl Sorrel sends her love and a big lick! Still no sign of darling George, poor Sorrel is truly missing him as much as me. We are thinking of having another cat very soon, I know Georgie won't mind if or when he comes back, and Sorrel needs another friend. She doesn't like being an only child for the first time in her life!
  11. Oh, what a dreadful tragedy. Hugs to you and your Mum and Dad Run free at The Bridge Toby and Sally

    Dogbook

Thanks for that! I have just quickly added Sorrel to Dogbook even though I am supposed to be getting ready for work! I will have to update her profile tonight when I'm in a wittier mood, and look out for the other Fugee dogs on there!
  14. Just wanting to come in and send healing thoughts to Daisy. I hate when they have to be left at the vet - I feel I have no control, and can't give the healing that personal touch brings. I don't know what the middle ground here is though. Truly truly thinking of Daisy and you xxx She's hanging in there so she's a toughie!!
  15. Aww, bless her Well done to you. I do hope the others can be found
  16. Hello Aww, they're lovely! All of them, But I must admit to a soft spot for handsome Hugo!
  17. Hi everyone! I know that some of you will remember me...I was a member here for quite a while. I had a bit of a tough year last year, and kind of went into hibernation. Then when I wanted to come back I SERIOUSLY couldn't remember my user name...I tried every permutation I could think of but no luck! So, I have rejoined as someone else, although I am still me I think I am anyway When I joined here the first time I lived in Cumbria and had 3 dogs...Sammy and Mungo the trailies are no longer with me...darling Sammy had to be pts because of the epilepsy he was suffering from, and Mungo had to be rehomed after my relationship broke up - long painful story that I don't want to go into too much but I know that many of you will remember me because of them. I still have my other dog, my lovely Sorrel, a rescued bearded collie We have stuck together through a tough year and the last 6 months or so things have been a lot happier with us! We are best friends! We now live in thew North East of England - near Darlington, on the North Yorks/Co Durham border in the middle of loads of fields and wide open space (we do live in a house though, not just in the fields ;) ) I'm sad again at the moment as 5 weeks ago my darling cat George went missing, and despite trying everything to find him he is still not home. We are still living in hope, and both Sorrel and I are missing him dreadfully, and are so worried about him. But so many people have been telling us stories of how their cats have disappeared for ages and come back one day so I am living in hope. So, a mixed introduction, but I am glad to be back on here, and look forward to meeting old friends, and new ones too! Debs xxx
