    Our Tash

Tasha was advertised on a dog rescue forum many moons ago, we agreed to foster her, failed miserably and she "adopted us", as soon as it was official her horns came out and she led us a merry dance and I had no option but to study training and behaviour and I owe where I am now to her, (one thing I never mastered with her was how to keep her out of the fridge! ). It was through Tash that my awareness of rotts in need of help was raised and it was because of her that Fife Rottweiler Rescue came into existence, she has welcomed many fosters through the door in her time and it will be so difficult to carry on without her by my side. Nite Nite my big girl you are and always will be sorely missed xxxxx
  3. just to lighten tone, my OH was sitting in the living room one evening when something caught his eye,he looked out the patio doors to see a bunny running amok with 4 rotties,he shot out to the garden intent on saving this poor bunny's life to find said poor bunny firmly clamped to one of the rotties back legs humping away for britain whilst removing said poor bunny from the dog's leg his arm was lacerated quite badly so perhaps its time we had a "dangerous Bunnies Act?. on a more seriouus note, I think theres probably more to this story than we know, again its not down to the dogs but an irresponsible Owner and I feel for the Owner of the rabbit it must have been a horrible sight for them to witness

    Helly

sorry missed this but glad your on the mend
  5. we have seen a huge increase in this genetic disorder called muppetitis,as you say its more prevalent in males, and seems to develop from about a year of age until.....................well we haven't actually found an age where it goes away yet! the following pics maay be an embarrasment to any "sensible" rotts so please avert your eyes. case study one, case study two, who needs a ball for a chuckit when the chuckit will do? the above dog also loves to visit the Vet and get sweeties, will spin on a sixpence to recall if there may be the off chance of a sweetie involved, unfortunately he is unable to stop when returning and only stops when met with legs. in our studies we have found though that the larger the head the worse the problem.............empty cavity perhaps?
  6. Do you think Darcy is trying to blend in with the furnishings? a bit more dust on her and she will soon look like the rest
