  10. Awwww pretty lady... Those of you who got Ebbi cuddles were very lucky, I got loads too... but also go Ebbi poo which wasn't quite so nice (especially after all the treats people had been giving her on Saturday!!) Rocky/Gina - Zeus says thank you loads for his squeaky toy, it's his favourite toy at the moment and amazingly STILL squeaks!!
  11. Am I missing something or is the "opening statement" not meant to be the first post in the topic... Any dog, whether it be a specific breed or not, is capable of aggression. I cannot understand how anyone who claims to be a dog lover can state that any particular dog is aggressive based simply on the breed it happens to be. When people discuss other nationalalities and comment on how people from specific countries come across as arrogant/rude they are accused of racism, why is it acceptable when it comes to dogs?
  12. I was reading about the cover offered by the Post Office - leaflet said they don't discriminate against older dogs at all, it's backed by Axa.
  13. Awww number 5 for me... look at that smile!!
  14. Stanley is a young ginger and white shorthaired male whose owner unfortunately failed to get him neutered and he has therefore picked up FIV through fighting with other cats. Also, somewhere in his past it appears he has been hit on a regular basis. He is very hand shy initially. Despite this, however, he remains an extremely friendly and very affectionate cat, who is quite chatty and is desperate for attention, human company and love. He is an exceedingly handsome cat and we need to find a home for him as an only cat or with another FIV positive cat. He would prefer a home with no young children and he would be better with someone who understands cats and their behaviour. Stanley is a gorgeous cat and he really does deserve a wonderful new home. Are you an experienced ‘cat person’ who could make Stanley a very happy little cat? Please call 01296 738558 or PM me if you can help
  15. Pigs ears are the fave - they also have markies and some bits from the Barkery

    Reiki healing

Please send some healing to my Daphne - she's in the vets on a drip, very sick kitty and we don't know why
  17. E & L have an atrocious reputation - my old vet warned me off them years ago. My three are all with NFU Mutual now - once the car and house insurance is up for renewal, they'll be transfering to NFU too Very sorry for your loss
  18. Mine - well theirs - is flushed down the downstairs toilet. Thought about one of those poo bins, but not sure it'd cope with my three...
  19. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/kent/6614287.stm This ban seems a good one to me - being left tied up outside shops is definitely not in dogs' best interests. hy do people take their dogs shopping with them? If we do happen to call into a shop while out walking, one of us will stay outside with the dogs so they're neither left alone or tied up. Only time my boys have been tied up was the other day when I tied them to the car port and washed off the black smelly goo from the black smelly bog they dived into on our walk!
  20. Reminds me of the time an off lead GSD came charging over to my Ben (who was on the lead) and started attacking him - Benj retaliated only for the prat with the GSD blame him for starting it!!
  21. Isn't he the escape artist?
  22. Thanx for the welcomes guys - I feel at home already!
  23. Hi All I joined here yesterday after hearing this place mentioned a lot by a good friend (you know who you are ;)). My furry family currently consists of... a 5 year old Dobe called Zeus - A 2.5 year old Rottie called Ben - A 2 year old Rott called Marley (seen below with friends, Barkley and Tally) - All three boys are rescues, and very much loved to bits I have nine cats too, most of who can be seen on here - http://www.stronger.me.uk/html/cats/cats.htm - I still need to add the three youngest, all three are tabbies who arrived here last year... I'll get around to adding them, honest
