so sorry hadn't seen this, yes tried them..but fingers crossed..all being weel at a meeting on Sunday between Max and a lady I mind her dog full time for, he will have a new home..Im soooooooooooo happy, and shouldn't be just yet but please think of us Sunday. and hope it works out for Max because if she says yes he will have the best home any dog could wish for. She currently has Ellis and she is her baby, she emplys me to mind her 4 days a week all day, so Max is going to want for nothing

Thanks so much you're so kind..FAB news RSPCA have been AGAIN! so cant call them for that AND she has booked him in for the snippet on Tues!! AND my mate is seriously interested in him, going to wait for him to have the op and take him for a few hours and gradually see on walks etc how things go so Im really HAPPY!! I know you should keep your nose out sometimes but I am glad I havent and fingers crossed I have found him a happy home AND in her defence she has listened to me the other day and got him booked in straight away....

Im in Wigan, I have requested a call back. I have told her about Machester dogs home, they do it for £40 but she didnt seem interested, I told her if she is on any benefits she can maybe get a voucher towards it?..I cant take a un-neutered male, but if he is done I will, until he is safe, because the people she knows etc are NOT who I want him to end up with, plus I think she just wants rid, so it wont be a case of finding him the right home

So its been around 6 weeks or so...nothing, the situation has changed, the dog now is just being left either out or in the garage continuously now. Always alone, no contact now at all, I havent seen him out much. So i rang again at the week end, result, was talking to the woman who's dog it is, as he got out..ESCAPPEEE!!! and Elvis and Ellie were barking so I went to look outside and she was there, she told me she had a card from the RSPCA and feels awful cause the lad has left, she has no time and so on and he is locked out rain, hale or shine tbh he looks a touch bulkier but as she said he is locked in the garden all the time and getting zero exercise, he is 10 months old I said to her, get him castrated and I will take him, not to keep but to get rehomed..he is LOVELY poor soul, little boxer/staffy x...big ears on him as she has already began putting ads for him in shops etc!!

Im so so sorry for the loss of your precious Dad, my thoughts are with you and all your family hope Friday goes as peacefully and well as is possible for you all xxxx

So sad for all involved..must be so heartbreaking to be told your dog has to be pts. Such a hearbreaking situation all round

I have been walking Max regularly now since last October, he is a BIG male 4 year old rotty boy..he is Gorgeous. His owner has made the heartbreaking decision to rehome him so he can have the time and love he deserves. Max is an outside dog and has lived outside all his life. He is in a nice big kennel but is not housetrained. He is BIG and bouncy, he hasnt been socialised very much but is fine with other dogs of all sizes, although very excitable..but all he wants to do is play and make friends..he forgets his size He is VERY friendly but too much sometimes but I put that down to not having that much company that when he does he is just SOOOOOOOOOO happy to see someone... He is NOT mistreated but left quite alot so I think all these little things could be rectified very easily by someone experienced with a dog of this nature and size. Max is 4, not been neutered BIG, friendly...trained in many basic aspects and good with recall and basic commands. Pulls on the lead quite a bit..but again I feel with time and patience this could be easily overcome. NOT housetrained. My daughter comes with me and her friends...to walk Max, they are all 8 and under..he is BRILL with them, but can jump up with excitement. He is walked with various dogs with me and let off his lead, he is fab with them BUT like I said likes to play so if he see's another dog he will run to it, I get him on his lead, walk on a bit and let him off again and he is fine. He is in Wigan, North West...errrr cant think of much more... Any suggestions..help please?? Hope I have posted in the right place. Will get a pic up tomorrow if this is ok?

Rang the RSPCA on Sunday about a neighbour, long story and after some umming and arghing? I decided to trust my instinct and ring them. Problem is, they haven't been yet..is this normal? I told then about the dog...lovely dog VERY hand shy...drops to the floor if you go to stroke it, witnessed it being hit with lead, dughter witnessed ot being kicked. Gong thinner as it goes from pup to adult..staffy x boxer...beautiful but too thin for my liking...not starved but thin!! roaming the street, left out most of the day, going to get run over or through no fault of its own end up in the ound. They got it from a 'rescue' near us, he still has his town halls Then there is the cat, she is around 6-8 months, was thin, then pot belly?? I said she is pregnant..."no way, she cant be" well 5 kittens later she was, they were being kept on a piece of news paper in a porch, no food or drink...seem the Mum out a week or so after birth, God knows where the kittens are!!! So I cant stop thinking of the situation, and I rang, but no sign of them..Im opposite so doubt VERY much that I missed them, but maybe so?? so does anyone know if this length of time is usual??

Oh Ally!! dont you ever be sorry, that beautiful special boy knew more love and devotion in a few days than many others do in a lifetime, you are an angel...his angel. Im just so heartbroke for you all, and that he didn't get to have longer in such a wonderful and loving home God bless you Jem..and the ones that helped you the way you deserved

I have always thought the same, you would think anyone having suffered any abuse knowing how terrible it is would want to do everything in their power not to make any other person/child/animal feel that way..but, again I have no experience and cannot comment on why some people continue the cycle of abuse..maybe its all they have ever known and see it as acceptable?

I fully agree, and Im so in awe of anyone who turns themselves around after ANY type of abuse to go on and be such caring people as are many on here..I cannot understand, not ever being in any type of abusive relationship myself, the ability to abuse...emotionally, physically etc a child or anyone..let alone your one of your own. I would rather die than make my daughter hurt in ANY way. I have been amazingly lucky to grow up with parents/family you can only dream of so can only just about to begin to imagine the horror of not having that. Anyone gone through any form of abuse has my utter most respect
