  9. Thankyou all so much for your lovely replies. Especially to those of you who have been through the same Doggylover, my thought truly are with you, its so hard to see them suffer, you are doing her so proud by being there. Mooandboo I cannot imagine what that must have been like, Im so very sorry. Thanks again so much for your kind thoughts. I didnt go to the garden I find it too hard, I wish I could, its a beautiful place, maybe in time I will find it easier to go there.
  10. gremlin22. Bruce has now found a new, hopefully, forever home.
  11. Well today my Mum would have been 67...she died a month before her 65th birthday, far too young but unfortunately not far too soon for her. That may sound harsh but Mum had suffered due to diabetes and its nasty effects for many years and I mean suffered..triple heart by pass, loss of eye sight, kidney failure, amputation of one leg and then gangrene setting in her other foot just weeks before she passed, loss of her hair at stages..more or less anything you could think of, so when I say she needed to die, I dont say it lightly, she deserved her rest...but we deserved her here and healthy Anyway Im not posting to moan but to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY MUM xx my heart and soul ache every minute Im awake, for you, you lived for your family..literally, or I do believe you would have gone years before, but no, as ever you fought on for us..like you did all our lives..we couldn't have dreamed in the most wonderful dream of a better Mum, wife, Nanny for our family. Hard working, loving, kind, gentle, strict :P when needed, but not often...selfless, beautiful, funny, gentle I could carry on and on. I wish I was coming to your house to shower you with gifts and a home made card from Katie, the apple of your eye, but instead Im facing the prospect of going to a memorial garden with flowers...somewhere Im ashamed to say, that I dont want to go. One of my favourite pics xx Hope you are at peace Mum and know we were all with you to the very end and just how wonderful and special you are to us, our family is NOT the same you were the glue that kept us in place but we do try I promise, as I know how important we are to you, we wont let the family fall apart as it would break your heart Love you Mum xxx bye for now
  12. I guessed earlier on Jamie would be in the last 2, he was so nice about it though, hope he does well either way. Bet Simon is kicking himself now for making the decision he did last week, it contributed to his act going home.

What an awful thing to happen.....Go have fun at the Bridge Bob thinking of everyone missing you
  17. Bruce is the dog I called the RSPCA over (http://www.therefuge.org.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=48249&st=0&p=858522&&do=findComment&comment=858522 ), him being left ALL the time outside, no shelter etc, being hit..VERY handshy and basically neglected and badly treated. His owners on my advice got him castrated She started putting cards up in shops etc about him but my friends offered to try him out at their house, he has been there a few months BUT unfortunately is a very strong and bouncy boy, very excitable..lovely lad just needs some basic training and effort putting in with him, they have decided against keeping him unfortunately as he knocked their 18month old daughter over last week and she ended up at hospital with a big bump on her head. Bruce just wants to play but obviously they feel he is too baouncy and strong around such a small child They have all become attatched to him and have given him a few months now but have asked me to ask around for Bruce as they feel their home is not the right one for him. They are going to leave getting another dog until their daughter is much older, but they wanted to try with him as they could see what an awful situation he was in being stuck in that back garden alone day in, day out. Well here is Bruce, he is BEAUTIFUL and I love his ears, he WILL make a wonderful pet, just needs the right home He is around 14 months old, bouncy, friendly, loving, strong boy who just needs a chance. LOOK at those ears! love them, he HAS calmed down alot with attention and exercise but he is only 14months old so just loves to play, needs some manners teaching him, he DOES calm down and settle lovey after initial excitment and bursts of Nuttiness Bruce is in the Wigan area, what breed would people say he is??
  18. hope you're feeling much better tomorrow, Im sure the secret santa match up can wait
  19. Feckin scum!!!!!!!!!!!! hope they suffer slowly and in the most horrific way. sleep peacefully little babies xxx wonder what the poor mum is going through, belonging to the pieces of sh*t that could do this?
  20. WTG Sno and you! I LOVE the pics, especially the last one, giving the little girl a kiss
  21. My daughter defines me, she is my life..nothing else. My passion for animals, mostly dogs and the welfare of them also defines me. My family and home is pretty much me and my life. So family, home and animals define me. Along with the loss of my Mum..that also defines me because it has changed the very core of me ..my behaviour, my personality, my daily life.
