  1. Been hibernating for last few days, sickness bug etc etc.. feel a bit better.. Happy 10th Birthday Millie xxxxx my collie x is 10 today whoooooooo whoooooooo.. she was one of ours born and when she was born, she was still and not much life, she went to a new home and the blokey said his asthma kicked off so she came back to us a week later shes a brill dog, will post birthday pics of her later Not like me to go to bed but night night its time to zonk out into me bear pit again, if the dogs will let me back in lol x
  2. Shes adorable, she looks like my Badger x Good Luck Skye, oo your not far away from me either
  3. Mawwwwwwwwwning everyone RIP those who have died in Haiti and those who can be saved or who are injured from the Earthquake may god be with you and your family All ice here, snow didnt arrive at 5am, am still hopeful tho as i saw bits of me path today first time in a month... come on snowwwwwww
  4. Just if anyone heading up to Scotland and going over Glencoe, their is a Scots piper and a lovely couple who run a hogi wagon on a layby their.. they stay their 5 nights a week. The farmer who owns that land doesnt mind people staying over night and walking dogs on his land as long as they clean up after themselves.. Also if heading up to loch ness way, go on the opposite side of the loch, some nice places where vans can hide away...
  5. ooooooooh ty Red Rotties, that BarknRide looks ideal for us to hire as well
  6. oh we went to another asda at birchwood and asked about pet event and the lad said wot but at least he went to customer services who said wot and she rang someone and said they moved it to another aisle wooo wooo we got some goodies
  7. Got a lovely doggy cook book from secret santa so my new freezer comes in a couple of weeks so am going to cook everything in the book.. Badger is going on a new years diet, hes needs to shed a couple of pounds, so have him on healthy foods and he is fed away from the other dogs as he feels obliged to finish theirs off as well.. so hes off to PAH to be weighed and back on his food and plenty of veg... couldnt work out why he put weight on till we actually watched him sneaking food out of the dog food sack.. which has been moved.
  8. R.I.P dog that drowned in water Badgers hips are better today and he went on a walk with Fern.. Hubby been out and about and done everything today.. i been to busy been sicky and yakky all day.. must have got a bug.. dont even fancy egg chips and peas at moment Warrington Council still not picked up bin rubbish for 5 weeks.. now we are told no collections this week and can we take them to pick up points cant even drop em of at tip as we are turned away, no room at the inn so so speak.. Hope everyone has a safe journey to work, or shops, or schools..
  9. Those two im sorry are a coffee bean short of a jar when it comes to pets.. buy, keep, get rid, buy keep get rid... more money than sense.. but if they went to a breeder it would be kudos oh the beckhams have bought one of my pups etc.. just because they are rich and have sort of talents, doesnt make them the brightest spark in the tunnel on everything.. they need to be educated
  10. I know some vets frown upon this but tough.. When I was with a vet in Warrington, and they treated Rosie, I always took her elsewhere for second opinion to a vets I totally trust to make sure.. but after they sent her ashes 300 miles away instead of to our local crem, we started to move away more.. then when Flissy had her girly parts done and they fluffed it up, we made a complaint to the vet people and took Flissy elsewhere to see to the end of her treatment.. The vet I am with now we have been with for 15 years, we just used the local vets in Warrington for emergencies and jabs etc.. but when one of my cats had kittens many years ago, it had a ripped tummy and we rushed it to the vet that we first had when we had Caffery.. as they are a fantastic practice.. Funny tho when we moved completely to the first vet we had the vet in Warrington rather inadequatley lost our xrays ... and some dont think its ethical as they cant build up a picture of the pets history... more like they want your money lol... Would I use 2 vets now, no I 100 % trust this vet, but if I had another vet like the ones in Warrington then oh boy I would.. even if it costs me more to have second opinions.. When we took Caffery their in Summer we said hes having nosebleeds.. out of the blue he said oh its nasal cancer, collies very prone to it.. and that was that.. but when we had him for a second opinion, he had xrays to see how far advanced it was and was on tablets and sadly we made the decision to let him go to Rainbow Bridge with discussions with the other vets and it made it a lot easier to make a decision.
  11. I have asthma and also allergic to various animal fur, both of which i have I use ACCUINHALERS, they are like a round disc and each dose is measured out, they are a lot better than the pump sprays, i never got to grips with those.. and as for the spacers plsssss....... but you have to ask the doc for them as they dont prescribe unless u ask x I also have those machine filters for clean air, cost a tenner from lloyds chemist and are really good.. but i also find really cold weather will kick off the asthma as well.. but i still loves me snow lol
  12. Omg Beans and Tomatoes with egg and chips nooooooo is very very very wrong.. Beans and Tomatoes are the devils food.. they are so evil.. plus make you trump They have to be garden peas not yakky processed peas... omg i fancy egg chips and peas now ... wonder if i wake hubby up he would cooke me some  Badger slipped and went flat on his face with his dicky hips inside, so hes on house and garden walks at moment, luckily he is ok but better to be safe then sorry with it been slippy out their. Lottie and Millie my 10 and 13 year old girlies have their paws on their hips and refusing to go out now.. only in the garden for about 10 seconds flat and back in.. All the others love ......... right time for bed, night night, oh boy better get their quick, time to get up in a couple of hours lol
  13. Egg chips and peas are me fav meal.. but you have to have the yolk just so runny, then you pour hp sauce in the yolk and mix it all up... and then dip yer chips in that..
  14. We have 7, and we split the walks in this weather.. Group 1 is the oldies, 10 and over, two each.. and if in large park they run round but not as boinging nuttyness the youngsters do.. Group 2 is the nutters.. all under 3 years, they run and run and are slipping and sliding.. However at moment its really bad round here with ice and deep snow so they go out in ones.. and after yesterday Lottie wasnt a happy ted so will be happy just in her garden where its safer and Millie doesnt do cold.. So walks round the forest that normally takes like 30 mins if not messing around, is taking over an hour at moment.. lol other day i was boiling and it was snowing loads i could have worn a bikini top, it was like a workout
  15. I get up anything from 5ish to 6ish, depends when the dogs start bouncing around.. but was up bright and early to do me tax things yesterday only to find they sent me wrong number sorted it all out today.. Took Lottie to park but snow was as high as her and she put her paws on her hips and said nooooo way... so i tugged her lead to say come on then we go on the path and she refused to move and slipped her collar and just sat their.. so i said come on and ended up carrying her back to the main road only for her to sniff at every flipping snowflake on way home, but we accidentally bumped into the chippy and they gave her a sausage and ran it under cold water tap so she was a happy little dog.. Millie is refusing to go out and after yesterday think Lottie will as well till it goes down a bit, good job we got big garden.. However the collies the medium ones love it and bound around.. and i love throwing snowballs at them as they jump up and catch it.. Have slipped about 20 times, in town today and I laughed at hubby who nearly went and 2 seconds later i did it was like that till we got past the banks lol, mind you we skated down to tax office it was just a sheet of ice.. had us in hysterics.. OK Helly, Ill divert the snow past your place better get to bed, doglets will be awake around 5 or 6ish.. night night everyone xxx
  16. So sorry to hear this, Run free Moon at the Bridge, their will be a lot of fugee doglets waiting to play with you. xxxx
  17. Mawwwwwwning everyone ooooh its early mmmmm might grab a brew as well and head back to bed for a hour since doglets are all zzzzzz... yayyyyyyyy i love the snow... supposed to be more snow in cheshire Sat.. Dont tell Helly, she will wish it all away

  19. Inlaws our car was well stuck in the snow 2ft and we have a large drive that goes out into a shared drive between me and lady at back of us.. Motherinlaw rings up, i need essentials.. bread, milk, butter, martini so i said okey dokey... leave it with us.. well our garden is like mm how can i explain it... house is in the middle of the garden lol...and we have a large area fenced off at the back for the doglets.. and we have been in that garden but not to the side gardens.. sounds posh it aint.. im on a corner.. anyways.. we went omg no way can our car get out, so we rings her back and said how desperate are you, and she said ok it will do tommorrow so hubby took the buttons crew out to the forest at back of us.. and i rang her back and said are you really till tommorrow, i can walk down even tho its not near, at least she would have stuff in but she went on about her driveway its got snow on it blah de blah, so i said well we are stuck, car is stuck, have you got a shovel and ill send hubby down and she went humph and put phone down.. Then im onto me mates and said omg why bother lol, what are they like, when the other mobile rings and its motherinlaw is hubby in, i said no hes in the park.. ok can you get him to ring me i said ok and phone goes down again.. Hubby comes back and rings her.. and said i was rude and turns on the waterworks, but he is well aware of her footstamping.. and then he bursts out laughing as she said well im going to suffocate.. and what will neighbours think, i got snow on me drive but how will you suffocate.. answer was cos shes in a bungalow and it could snow up to top of windows, its about a foot lol.. So after that i said come on lets try and get it dug out, so we braved it shifted snow for about 60ft, then did hers, got her shopping... was soaking wet through, i couldnt move as my joints had seized and her last comment was... Aw thats brilliant, my drive is clear and my car is clear, but im not going out anywhere, anyone who goes out in this weather wants their head testing and we had just braved snow roads and slipping all over place for that Parents eh, made us laugh tonight tho lol
