  1. Sarah you have to get yer own place together then i can come and visit i dont know where my furminator is either lol.. Found the perfect dog bed... after wasting loads on other products, beds, cushions etc and spent a fortune.. I have found one that all the dogs love and wont shift their lardy butts from it.. Went into tescos other day and bought this like lilo bed but its really strong material and bouncy and is as thick as a mattress.. attacked to it is a sleeping bag, great for camping.. butttttt we blew it up and that was the last of it, the dogs have hogged it.. we threw a duvet over it and its in spare room and they love it.. better than a dog bed.. and for a change all the dogs share it and snuggle up.. best £20 ever..
  2. another handbag person here.. looking round where I am sat now, I have me border collie handbag, me black leather patent one and a ruck sack leather one lol.. I do like handbags and have some new ones for Christmas I bought a couple of years ago.. I have loads of different colours but generally during the day its a black one if I am out and about working or its the collie one.. if its dog shows then rucky sack ones .. My fav one is my marshmallow designer bag, but its getting tatty now, but i still love it and cant bear to throw it away.. i dont like stuffing things in pockets, im big enough without more bulges
  3. Ian if your using quote from the other thread, it was about asking someone towards a pressie from someone else, it was not about people buying vouchers.. so where i said its personally rude to do that is to the email the young lady recvd not vouchers I didnt know they had expiry dates on them.. my motherinlaw got a couple of hundred quids worth for xmas pressies.. i suppose the only store i would like vouchers for is lush as i spend a fortune their.. when i have had vouchers in past, i stuff em in a drawer and very rarely spend them or i loose them.. i dont like getting cash either for pressies. which reminds me have to go and get a mate a pressie tommorrow We got a lot of vouchers when we got married as well as pressies.. wonder what ever happened to them
  4. [ @ cafferys mum. How many Fugees have a cat called Marmite? Seems there are several. Good luck with finding a new job, Sophie Shes a black cat but when you look closer shes marmite coloured lol.. shes not a tub shes a very pretty girl.. who is currently fast asleep downstairs while the kitten is in my bathroom sitting on the bath playing with the light switch i can hear it banging against the bedroom wall lol...
  5. Personally, I think its rude to do that.. On my 40th, I got loads of pressies and some of me mates are skint and couple are minted.. the pressies that I recvd from both were just as special as each other as they made the effort.. I hate recving money or vouchers for any occassion as no thought has gone into it..
  6. well nearly ready all to go, hubby wants to try but in all honesty, he is a meat eater but he said he will start by introducing veggie meat into his diet. I said thats good so when i have this or that, you can have it too.. Came back from town and said did you enjoy that meal I left for you, he said yes it was so yummy, and it was nice meat, nicest had in ages.. Then I told him it was the Quorn mince.. really enjoyed that.. Been looking at lots of labels and Asdas quite good and easy to find stuff, funnily enough, for me I dont think its going to be that hard to cut out meat as lot of the stuff I was looking at today is suitable for vegetarians..
  7. So much for trying to be girly.. here I was this morning, had me new gear on and felt all girly when the lacy strapped pinged off the basque and hit me in the flaming face at full force... hubby couldnt stop laffing and said it would need a crane to lift me boobs up so back to square one, couldnt find new shoes.. found old pair... put new skirt on yayyyyy it fits, bit to big, for some reason.. last year i lost 4 stone and i keep buying the sizes i was then.. anyway goes to put on my new blouse and i couldnt get one boob in never mind two.. it was a size 10 took them back to Asda and hubby said im not coming to cust services if you take that basque out and theirs a bloke in queue.. i tutted and marched along.. Blokey behind me smiling and the girls were laffing when i told it pinged out.. and then manager came along and said oh when did u buy the blouse, i said birchwood last weds.. apparently all been recalled cos of colour.. i said feck the colour, your sizings wrong, look at coat hangers and tabs on shirt different sizes.. So got another one now ewwwwww tax return day tommorow for me, thats gonna be so much fun.. malibu at the ready.. Marmite who went missing for two days came home and went out again.. ps, Marmite is the cat, not a tub of brown sticky stuff.. Sorting tons of carp out for charity shop on friday they are picking it up, which is great, until next time i fill it all up again..

  12. I was a fingerprints tech for 4 years, and used to go to court and morgue to print people. If I had stayed another year I would have been an expert, but you know what its like when your younger, you want to conquer the world lol..yep britian is a front leader in discovering stuff eg most forces still use the uk system for fingerprinting.. and classification.. but as for advances in technology for it lol well i never saw it in my time, but it was in america.. then went into communications in forces till 96, when i left... oh to be young again and switch back the clock lol Lol hubby has told me to go and do some travelling lol, we have mates in canada and florida and spain and said go and get it out of yer system lol  then the next day I want to do soemthing else.. pmsl
  13. Badger is a lot better with his hips and his grumpy mode is over for the time being, had some good news, mortgage have accidentally been over charging us and we are getting a refund.. hubby says yay.. we can have a new camcorder.. i said yayyyyy not bloody likely its going on decorating and a new freezer lol.. Am thinking of going back into forensics, but am I now too old.. lol.. anyway nothing lost nothing gained, i supposed, but fingerprints has always intriegued me and even having my own business has not satisfied career wise.. hubby thinks im going through mid life crisis.. oh CVS and forces here I come.. looking back now if I had just stuck it out for another year, i would have been fully qualified at NSY.. oh well the innocense of youth when you think you know it all.. would love to go to USA and do it their tho as they are more advanced.. maybe barking up the wrong tree but hey ho.. its been on my mind a lot recently so have decided to go for it, they can only say no your too old now lol Hubby says im going through a mid life crisis and for once I thinks he is right lol
  14. Think its the hot spices really in them.. you know like vindaloo the yummy ones... as it can affect kidney etc etc.. the mild stuff i could get away with but its not something i have really been into.. the hotter the better I already eat tons of american ranch salad and stuff like that, but what meat substitutes can you get etc..
  15. althought i love currys.. my specialist doesnt like me to have it, or lots of caffeine or cheese as i also suffer from hemiplegic migraines and speech dhysphasia which means it mimicks a stroke and my speechs goes and can paralise.. only time people can get a word in edge ways... so just have to be careful i dont go full overboard.. Why is it allways the foods you love lol that drs ask you not to have lol..
  16. When I was around 14, I watched a documentary on channel 4 about how animals are killed for meat for the supermarkets.. and against parents wishes I became vegetarian but they wouldnt let me carry on with it.. Years have gone by and im not really a big meat eater..and esp after the meat at xmas was thrown away, i thought about it more.. but.. around 4am in the morning have been forcing myself to watch a programme called cook it, kill it, eat it.. in fact after many of the episodes i felt quite ill and began to question what meat i do eat etc.. So I have decided to go back to been a vegetarian, but I need a good cookbook or informative website as I have kidney probs and some foods are restrictive.. So wise fugeeees can you help please
