My local hospice also has someone to talk with families. Lots of people have found that it helps. See if there is a local alzheimers society near to you. Again they are a great support to families. Although you have a lot going on with your mum and dad, don't forget to look after yourself. :GroupHug:

How rude and uncalled for. It happened to my daughter years ago. She had taken a lot of time and trouble to find something for my ex that she had thought he would really like. He had set his mind on a silver book page saver. (Not do-able on her pocket money) He threw the gift back at her. Tears from my daughter and a right rollicking from me to him. Sulks from him= peaceful christmas afternoon!!!! One of the reasons he is my ex!!
