We've taken 3 to Park Coppice at Coniston, lovely site, quiet with an enclosed dog walking area. You have to keep dogs on a lead or chain by caravans, think the details are in the back of the club handbook. The site is on the shore of Lake Coniston and there is a camp site next to it, Coniston Hall, which is a farm. You can walk through it and across the field into Coniston where there is a nice pub or two We take the dogs to Grizedale Forest http://www.forestry.gov.uk/forestry/infd-5k2c4m

Good luck wickychoo I have always been single, never wanted kids or to get married, settled down when I met Bill though. After 13 years together and 10 years of living "over the brush" we got married last week. Both not religious or wanting kids (despite family's reaction "must be pregnant" which annoyed me, am 46 ffs. )

In August there will be a dog agility course in the woods too -
It's very hot here, saw homeless men n Friday begging with a poor dog. My dogs have cooling bandanas with gel in, you soak them in water and they stay cool for ages (off ebay). Yesterday I made them "fish lollies" which they love They have a paddling pool as well

That's a shame after all your hard work, I agree, get the paper to print an article, you will no doubt get help from a local company. Try Freecycle, you may be able to replace things from there?

I think there's several cloakrooms

I'm going on Saturday on the train- you need Birmingham International, walk throught the tunnel and you're in. Best idea is to take a packed lunch and a bag or holdall and leave at the cloakroom, you can go in and out and leave stuff there to save carrying round all day. (there are big queues for everything)

Well done Mel I turned the speakers up, Merlin was on the settee with a chewy stick- his gob fell open and he dropped it on the floor You should defo do an album, it must include that awful song from Titanic and perhaps The Power Of Love by Jennifer Rush (I think). If the police threaten to move people on Saturday you can threaten to sing to them
