OMG that's like shopping with my OH! Once he pushed me head first into a freezer, he has walked down an aisle balancing a brush on his nose (a sweeping broom). Another time he was with his 80 year old mother and shouted "No mother, you've had two bottles of gin already". I dread going because you never know what he's going to say (or do). When I worked for the Salvation Army the officers went to the cash & carry (in uniform), Captain put bottles of gin and condoms in the trolley and Major didn't notice until they got to the checkout. When the kids we looked after got headlice I went to the chemist with Captain, at the counter she said loudly"You don't have to pretend it's for kids Ange- it's not your fault you've got nits"

We're going, been before and it was brilliant, I have won a competition in Your Dogs magazine so will be staying here http://www.macdonaldhotels.co.uk/berystede...tion_hotels.htm and having VIP lunch at the show yay! (not bragging but am very excited!) We will be in the Top Dog classes with two dogs and I might be in the "Dog Train & BehaveWeek" ring It was hot the last time we went, I took a beach shelter and cooling bandanas, hope to see you there, we will have Saskia (white husky with blue eyes) and Tikaani (chocolate & white husky) -
We've been to a lovely site called Park Coppice at Consiton, caravans in a woodland or tents by the lake, you can walk across the fields to the village. There is a dog walking enclosed area, you have to keep them on a lead though. We take our lot to Grizedale Forset which they love. There's a couple more we heard about recently will try to find them.

We're thinking of getting wood burning stoves for the living rooms but OH says the chimneys will need lining (which will cost a lot). He can get loads of wood that is thrown away where he works.

This was in the Southport Champion this Weds.(have left out name etc): A 63 year old assumed that some major wrong doing was underway when he saw two police running in his direction on Thursday June 5th, only to find that he was their target after photographing a horse. As a keen artist who often enjoys taking pictures for painting purposes, he also claims to have taken pictures of chickens, cows, sheep and bridges during a bike ride through the area with a friend. he told the Champion "They said 'somebody's reported that you may be planning to steal horses as you were taking photographs'. I didn't know whether to laugh or be annoyed". He voluntarily deleted the picture from the camera before police proceeded to take down his details and fill in a stop form. Over the past week police forces across the North of England have issued warnings to horse owners, after men appearing to be Eastern European have been spotted driving vans and taking pictures of horses with the intention of stealing them to order. A spokeswoman for Merseyside police denied that stopping all members of the public who photograph the anmal is a standard police tactic, however she said: "A memo has been circulated for officers to be aware so they will have responded accordingly". The spokeswoman also confirmed that police must fill in a stop form as a routine procedure whenever they stop someone.
