    Divorce

I recently did my own divorce. Now I know I'm in Ireland so not much help to you with forms but just wanted to say: When I got the forms, I thought it was a bit daunting so put them aside for a couple of weeks. Then had another determined look at them and it was actually very easy. Saved me a small fortune. Best of luck
  2. So sorry Michelle. You tried so hard for Issie and loved her so much Rest easy Issie
  3. Michelle, my heart is going out to you. Come on Issie T, would I be that Irish fugee. If so ......... that's the first time I've been called a fugee The last time T called here, she had Hamish (aka El Rattus) with her. T wasn't even in the front door today and Andy, my son 3.5 yrs awww bless, accosted her with "Where's your doggie?". You better bring him next time Ah DIVORCE. What a lovely lovely lovely word. I got my divorce a few weeks ago on a Friday morning. And got engaged that afternoon. Obviously not to the same man. I ain't that mad And for those of you who want to do to your OH's this will make you sick. All week I have been the bitchiest wagon due to the impending visit of Auntie Flow (I'm assuming you have now all coped on to who she is ). My poor OH, or should I say my Fiancee lol, was keeping a very wide berth the whole time. So on Friday evening, I was finally feeling better. When he came home from work, I greeted him with a HUGE apology and a glass of wine as a peace offering. He just hugged me and told me how much he loved me Now I think that's enough wine waffle at 2am. So night night all
  4. Michelle & Issie We have just had a torrential downpour here with thunder and lightning. We now have a pond on our front lawn and our back yard is flooded. Happy mid-summers day everyone
  5. I've never bothered attaching a lead up at the shoulders also. I just attach it under his chin. If he tries to pull, he just kinda gets pulled back to face me. Hope that makes sense. I think I read somewhere that these harnesses shouldnt be used with a flexi lead. But I use a flexi lead on Bruno all the time and never had a problem. If I bring him out on his own along the canal, I can let him off lead so he still gets a run. But if I have Misty Westie and Bob Terrier cross with me also (who I certainly cant let off lead, selective hearing lol), I dont let Bruno off lead as I dont think it would be fair. Before I got this harness, there is no way that I could walk the three dogs at the same time. Now I can with absolute pleasure. Forgot to mention, I also have one of these harnesses for Bob. Now while he's only a small dog and I could manage him pulling, I didn't like him choking himself. Again, no acclimatisation was needed for it. Just put it on and off you go. I'd be interested to hear how you get on with it if you do get one.
  6. If the new guy was a bar of chocolate, he'd eat himself. Just the few minutes of I saw of him and he is most irritating
  7. When I got Bruno boxer, he was just a nightmare. He was a lunging choking lunatic. After trying many things, including a head collar which he absolutely hated, I finally got a Halti front fastening harness. This is magic and we have the most relaxing walks now. He didn't need any extra time to get used to it and I feel like I have total control over him. What's the difference between the dog being on a collar and lead, or on a harness and lead? I don't really get that comment about the harness being too restrictive. I can't recommend this harness enough but make sure it's the front fastening one. This is a link that will give you some info on it. (Mods if it's not ok to have this link, please remove) Halti Harness
  8. for Issie and George Nettie, Auntie Flow is visiting you too. Feel better soon
  9. Im very glad that you got on well with the doc. Again, as I said before, you coming on here and telling all and sundry about it is a major step. You're very brave. Enjoy your holiday and try to just relax and take it easy
  10. Mal has his priorities right Good to hear he's doing well
  11. Oh his sad sad eyes have made me cry Wiggle, you are a gorgeous boy and I look forward to seeing happy eyes soon Wendy, well done
  12. That is just the best news Loobie - don't bother replying. As others have said, it will only drag you back into the quagmire. Owl - take all the time you need. Others are trying to be helpful and probably desperately struggling for the right things to say, and getting it wrong. Jacobean - really hope Issie gets better soon and starts eating. I know there was other stuff I wanted to say but it's gone so all round. The sun is shining today and I'm feeling a bit brighter. Started on my starflower oil and Vit B6 so hopefully that will help. Auntie Flow visiting helps too (Is Auntie Flow a polite Irish saying or will anyone else know what the heck I'm on about )
  13. Incapuppy Laura that is fantastic news Jazz My furminator arrived today. I've just spent the last hour furminating Bob. He loved it and so do I. Can't believe I only brushed him the day before yesterday and still the amount of fur that came off him. Great therapy also
  14. Oh that's great Hope Dolly gets on well at vets tomorrow. I'm off to bed to try to sleep. NN all
  15. Hope Issie continues to improve
  16. Thanks Merle and Claz. I'll put them on my shopping list. Although knowing me, I'll get them and then forget to take them. I'd be a disaster on the Pill That's nice about your job Merle. Very nice to be appreciated
  17. Sarah, well done for coming on and explaining. It does help to talk about things, especially depression. Being open about it is a great start. Hope you start feeling better very very soon
  18. Thats great news Laura. You'll be wishing the time away. This pre-menstrual lark is really really getting me down. I still haven't slept for a full night and I'm so tired and in foul humour. I really snapped at my little boy last night and feel absolutely terrible about it It's lashing rain out and cold. I was doing some typing this morning. This man's writing is really difficult to read. I had typed four pages and we had a power cut. Yes, that's right, not a single word had been saved so now I have to do it all over again. I'm now going to toddle off and give myself a slap to remind me that people have real problems and I need to snap out of being so pissed off. Sorry for going on. to all that are in need of one, or two
  19. That's great that it all worked out for you. Best of luck

  21. Oh the tights are just hideous. As is her make-up. Everytime I see her I just want to get a wipe and give her face a good clean. Lipstick goes on your lips not all around your big mouth!! I'm hoping Mario goes this week. Really can't stand him. Alex makes the place interesting Especially after the tannoy incident
  22. Congratulations on the job Laura and good luck for tomorrow Sorry to hear this. RIP
  23. Best of luck. Do what's right for you
