  1. Don't think I'll be hanging any washing out soon I'm sure there must be a garden under there somewhere
  2. Snow !...call that snow ! ? This is what you call snow This was my back garden this afternoon, too dark now to take photo's out the front, but I did take this one on Monday morning of the Old Town from my bedroom window
  3. Are you all still getting out for walks ! ?....snow's so deep here we can't get to the stubble field which is about 100 yards along the road, roads are too dangerous to drive onto any side roads, we're having to make do with the field across the road, even there if the Staffies venture off the track I've made, I have to go and rescue them, the snow's up to their necks . Somebody tell me I'm not the only one stuck at home
  4. ......the Solstice is also Spuddy's birthday, a special day for a speshul boy
  5. Luckier still then, that forest is huge, she could easily have become lost and not been found at all
  6. I had a similar dilemma with Ben who had HD, all the usual NSAID's affected his liver and made him quite ill, he's now been on Tramadol for about 6 months and is doing great on them. I don't know why more vet's aren't using them as they have no effects on the internal organ's, it does make your dog a bit dopey for the first week or so, but after that they're fine. There's also the advantage of them being ridiculously cheap, I pay £8 for 100.
  7. Taking the minimalist theme to an all time high . Does make me wonder what the finished look will be with tinsel and balls....or are they already on
  8. We were on the M90 between jct 9 and Kinross today and it had ground to a stand still on the north bound lanes, you might be ok if she's far enough south, the gritters are out in full force but it's snowing so much it just get's covered up. I certainly won't be risking going out in the car again, t'was very hairy, did get the shopping done though.
  9. I hated having to stop every two min's to de-ball Ben's snowy feet....but....I loved it when he licked my ear as I was doing it
  10. Phew ! thats one lucky girl, imagine surviving over night in those conditions . I don't get what's funny about the title either ....but I'm known for my fickness
  11. Just this summer I got a poll through the post from the Duchess asking for support to include Staffie crosses in the type of dog Scottish Staffie Rescue would help, some of the committee thought they weren't worth bothering with as they weren't "pure " .......twats
  12. Is there any decent alternative to Photobucket ? it takes an age to work for me and then it makes Chrome crash, it's very frustrating
  13. Nah, Red Dead Redemption .....Undead Nightmare...it was only £20 in Tesco, it's really good for the price if you like killing zombies, riding horses (including zombie ones ) and hunting Big Foot ( I don't like that bit much ) It must be a depressing time for anyone trying to make rescues see sense . There are still good ones out there, the place I know has helped and rehomed quite a few with a history of aggression, but they only have five dogs at a time so probably have more time to devote to them, they even managed to rehome a Border Terrier that had bitten a man on the testicles . Yes, she's been on Sky One recently with Huey from Fun Loving Criminals on Lisa and Huey Animal Nation
  14. She's right narked isn't she We've had yet more snow , it's about as bad as it was last year. For once I'm glad Ed's off his work, he can drive to the shops this afternoon, we're down to the last steak and onion slice in the freezer .
  15. If you get it at night in the snow it can be spectacular, the lightning refracts of the falling snow and creates lots of colours.
  16. I will mostly be staying inside and indulging in a spot of zombie slaughter
  17. I'd never heard of it, but there are only about 6 Thunder Snow events globally per year, and usually they occur in America, I thought the bulb behind me had blown but it was a flash of lightning in the snow, followed by a huge rumble of thunder, it went on most of the morning, and managed to get a direct hit on Dundee cop shop Thundersnow
  18. We're knee deep in snow now, does look lovely but I wish it would bog off, it's sunny now so it might not stay for long. My hen's are not amused, Ben's in his element though
  19. What about getting in touch with Border radio ? they're really good at putting out appeals
  20. My friends are in Selkirk I'm afraid, but I'll pass the info along, they might know someone who lives there, I'll send the link to BAWA too, the local pet rscue. Hope she's found today, the snow up here's hellish, poor girl
  21. When I was in Perth today I saw someone out walking their Staffie bitch who had obviously just had pup's as her boobies were just about on the ground, no coat on or nothing in the deep snow hope they have good homes lined up for the babies . Quite a lot of snow here, Ben and Spud loved it, Daisy say's she may not come out from under the duvet until spring I have a new X Box game to play Red Dead Redemption Undead Nightmare, a box of Fruit Pastilles and some toffee popcorn, so I just need to watch Merlin then I'll be battling the zombie hoards all night
  22. Really ! ?.....well you live and learn
  23. Agreed, I thought Dom was a bit rough with them, they were very good not to bite him, makes me wonder if their mouths were held shut some how, same as they do with the baby croc's
