  1. Raven is a beautiful and sleek black kitten of 6 months of age. She has come to us for rehoming as her previous owners left her outdoors all the time, resulting in her getting sick with flu as well as pregnant. Raven is very pretty and petite, with a lovely affectionate and curious personality. She is currently recovering from flu but is doing well. If she was to live with other cats they would need to be vaccinated up to date. Raven will be speyed, microchipped and vaccinated before leaving us, and will be rehomed with 6 weeks free health insurance. There is a £50 donation fee to adopt Raven. Arwen is a beautiful 3 year old queen who came to us for rehoming recently. She is a very pretty dark tortie with semi-long fur and beautiful markings. Arwen is a relaxed, affectionate & friendly little cat, with a feisty streak. She is looking for a good permanent home. She could adapt to living with other pets and would like to be able to have some outdoor access eventually. Arwen is speyed, microchipped and vaccinated, and there is a £50 donation to adopt her. Smudge is a 7 year old, short haired boy who came into our care due to his former owners ilness. He is white with a few small black markings and very handsome. Smudge is used to living with dogs and would probably adapt to living with other cats as long as intros are done correctly. He is friendly and affectionate once used to you and is a lovely well adjusted cat. Smudge has been microchipped and started his vaccinations again as they were overdue. There is a £50 donation to adopt Smudge. To adopt/enquire about any of these kitties, please PM me.
  2. The RSPCA will soon have up for rehoming a litter of SIX Staffies, they are 7 months old and there are 3 dogs & 3 bitches - one fawn dog and the rest brindle. This is an extremely sad case as these dogs have been in the RSPCA kennels since they were SIX WEEKS OLD  Their mum was seized as a cruelty case and it has really taken this long to sort it out. So these poor pups have spent their entire lives in kennels due to a very selfish owner refusing to sign them over for rehoming. All six are very friendly and happy Staffies. They love to play and get on well with other dogs due to the dedication & care of the kennel staff caring for them all this time. Now that they are 7 months old it is going to be far more difficult to rehome them than if they had just been released as young puppies, so they need all the help they can get. All vaccinated, microchipped and soon to be neutered. To be rehomed following successful homecheck. Please crosspost wherever - [email protected]
  3. Elliot got enough points for his Flyball Dog at Eggborough
  4. Poor Bob is STILL looking for his forever home... he has been in the care of the RSPCA for over 18 months and he is only 2.5 years of age, poor boy!
  5. Unfortunately poor Rosie has passed away. Run free sweet girlie...
  6. Thats great to hear about Reno another dwarf who is a very good age!
  7. Wow well done to all concerned - she's beautiful! I have seen one other similar dog, a result of a particularly nasty dog attack. Hope she finds her way into a great forever home very soon!
  8. The 'orrible kids round here called Bean "an effin' rabbit, not a dog!" once *humph!*
  9. Haven't been on for a couple of days but very relieved to come back here and read a more positive update on little Tekno - lots of gentle hugs!
  10. Am very pleased to announce that Precious will be off to her new home soon!

    Hmmmm

I disagree with the dog treats man and your vet's second point. Fleas live everywhere and on all animals, and they'll certainly thrive under a Newfie coat if they had them. I have shaved a Newfoundland who was heavily infested. I'm not telling you to treat them, but I'm telling you that they certainly can and will have had fleas at some point. What ingredient do these biscuits contain that is supposed to be an aid to itchy dogs, out of curiosity? The person making them evidently isn't that knowledgeable if they thin kthat only farms & cats carry fleas LOL!
  12. He reminds me a LOT of a Heeler, I wonder if he could be a LH cross? http://www.lancashireheelers.org/
  13. What a very special and beautiful little guy, and such a fighter. Did the Irish vet not to post op xrays to check his fixation?! I hope his leg heals and he doesn't still need amputation. We had a very similar fracture case and despite trying we did eventually have to go for amputation anyway. (((hugs)))) to him and huge kudos to all involved!
  14. Sounds like he's in the best hands - I'll keep checking in.
  15. Thinking of you all... hope Tekno is going to be okay.
  16. Welcome! What's her name? Love the collar.
  17. Hugs & healing thoughts to little Charlie. We have performed several amputations on cats and they all cope just fine. Most cats are adjusted to their new balance etc within a couple of days.
  18. I really like Identitag, they are brilliant - good product, great value, really quick delivery and run by nice people!
