    Advice Please

If you need more than the incense sticks, simply striking a match and blowing it out does the trick Very occasionally I've needed two or three, but usually one is enough. Glad there's nothing worse than that, I'll send Reiki if he'd like it.
  3. Owl - good news - dog and people reunited Thanks for your help
  4. Thanks Owl, have asked for an update and photo if possible.
  5. There has been an entire male handed into Ivybank Vetinary Clinic today at 18:15. He was found wandering in Irvine. He is not microchipped and is between 1 and 2 years old. If anyone has heard of a lost Weimaraner in the Ayrshire area please contact Ivybank on 01294-273-161. Not yet on Doglost.

    Rimadyl Dosage

Sounds like the Arnica's done the trick, and maybe the Reiki too If he needs more today, just 3 or 4 doses, but doesn't sound like he needs any Thanks Ange for finding it for me

    Rimadyl Dosage

Well, I've hunted through new posts and still haven't sussed out what RMF is, so can't find what happened to him or how bad it is. Hope he's feeling better.

    Rimadyl Dosage

If you're giving him Arnica, he's not likely to need Rimadyl too. I haven't read what happened, but you can give Arnica quite often if it's really bad, up to ten doses maximum, getting farther apart each time. If it's bad enough that you're even considering Rimadyl, you probably need to see a vet anyway. I'll send Reiki.

    Allergies

Best thing you can do is have the dog seen by a Homeopathic Vet as they have much more success with allergies than allopathic ones do. To find one, try here http://www.bahvs.com/ http://www.trusthomeopathy.org/trust/tru_over.html All the best
  12. All depends what's causing the flaky skin. Did you change her food / give new treats / change washing powder/ get new carpets/etc, etc.............. Adding some fish oil to her diet may help or Evening primrose oil.

    Reiki healing

Well said Edith, and it's good to see it written by a Reiki Master too. Although I know I'm right, it's good to have the back-up Reiki is just SO smart, powerful, etc, etc,............. It's a privilege to be a member of the Reiki 'family' and be able to help with it. So, Pam, have you been practising your distant?

Yep, really. Try it. I actually find it very annoying that some 'masters' put limitations on Reiki like that. I read Penelope Quest's book 'Reiki' before deciding that yes, this was for me and she said that it does still go, but less strongly at R1, stronger at R2, and even stronger at R3/master. I had the attunement here in the house so I could give to my then old lady dog, so missed out on classes. I was hurting myself trying to give her Reiki so phoned my master and asked if it was possible to send from a comfortable position for me and she said of course and that the results some of her students had had was amazing. Of course, because I had first read that it wouldn't be as strong, I felt I was short-changing Hannah, so still twisted myself into knots to do hands on till I got my pal to be a tester for me. After she was gone, I found a forum where people were often sending Reiki and I thought mine wouldn't get very far till I spoke to another Reiki 1 who said hers went all around the world! shock, horror!!! After a while I got talking to someone in London who wanted some sent to her dog, so I used to sit with my hands up at the photo and then get emails saying how wonderful it was!!! Then I gradually started to realise that the photo wasn't always neccessary, intention works too. I do like to see a photo if possible, but that's just cos I like to visualise the animal. Sometimes I do feel I need to send directly to the photo but most often I don't now. You'll find what works for you and what you're most comfortable with. The important thing is that, yes, you can! Enjoy sending Reiki now

It's on the way. Pam, you may only be Reiki 1, but you can still send distant Just try it, you'll be amazed Either hold your hands over a photo if you have one, or just 'intend' that it goes - it will! I wasn't sure either, so I asked a pal to sit in a chair across the room from me and held up my hands and switched on, and of course was trying to judge by his face if it was going or not, lol - he said it was going in waves and I worked out what was happening was that while I believed it was going, it went, and when I doubted it, it stopped Clever stuff, Reiki.
  16. Mountains on the way as long as he needs it. Now I have to go find the update

    Trimming Nails

Hi, yes, the hair and moon thing works I know of people who use Dremels, but having read about it and the acclimatisation you have to do to get the dog used to the blooming thing before you start trimming, I decided it was quicker and less stressful for dog and me to just clip or file. They bleed like crazy when you nick them! I got Hannah once and did penance for months She wasn't bothered for more than a few minutes though. I know a lot of people use superglue for cut pads etc and lets face it, hospitals use it now, so I don't imagine it does that much harm if it's just a teeny drop?
  18. aaww, he's lovely, sending loads of Reiki, hope he's home real soon.

Good thinking Ange It's great for any surgery/ dental work, any injury basically.

    Trimming Nails

I'd try filing them a bit at a time, I find an emery board works fine, the rough side. A little tip - if you trim/file when the moon is waning, they will grow more slowly. Also true for cutting hair, grass, etc..... So better not to cut every 6 weeks as then you'll be doing it in a waning moon one time and a waxing one the next. Every 4 or 8 would be better. It's waning just now.
  21. I like Natural Healthcare for Pets by Richard Allport. He has what the 'conventional' treatment would be and all the alternatives, also says when allopathic is best. He also covers a wide range of alternatives. Well worth the money.

Mountains of Reiki on the way to all. ReikiAnge, If they can get it over there, Homeopathic Arnica 30c, one tablet 3 times daily would also help that stump heal.
