celeste Posted March 1, 2010 Report Share Posted March 1, 2010 I'd have no problem with some sort of test, perhaps one should also be put in place for anyone wanting to breed a litter, but as Owl point's out, it's unworkable, and would do bog all to curb the problem owners, just pile on more restrictions for normal ones. Rumpole Posted March 2, 2010 Report Share Posted March 2, 2010 i think that we would do more if breeding was strictly controlled with all puppies being chipped or permanently identified before they were rehomed with their chip paperwork being akin to a log book making the last keeper responsible for changing details and breeders responsible if the homes the dogs go to are unsuitable.
