Laura_E
This is the link to the harness, not sure if you can figure out how it works from the picture, it's probably not a huge help. http://www.petsathome.com/shop/stop-pull-harness-for-dogs-by-pets-at-home-14475 It took me a while to figure it out too, but he is such a good boy and would just sit there patiently whilst I bumbled away! It sounds like he is having a great time and I'm so glad that him and Charlie are getting on so well. Did the jumper arrive today?
lauraw
no sorry it didn't, but then again I haven't had any post at all today, so more than likely it will be here in the morning. Thanks for the link, I'll see if I can follow it and he is so good, just fast asleep again now don't think he was expecting such a long walk.... Thanks again for everything and as soon as the jumper arrives I'll text you

lauraw
Aww thank you Eve, I'm just struggling now to find a jumper or coat for Charlie as he is so jealous of Rhino's because of how handsome and cool he looked!! He has braved the cold nothern air, and I think the coat has done the job as it didn't seem to bother him!!! I think he was relived though that the walk wasn't as long as yesterdays
Laura_E
He is so cute! I have a red mac that Charlie can have if you like? I got it for Bouncer and he only wore it once, but it's too big for Tess.

Laura_E
Of course it's ok. As long as Charlie won't feel emasculated, as it does have white polka dots on the reverse! I have sent you a message anyway

lauraw
The good news is both the cats have been sniffed at, patted Rhino on the nose and turned their backs on him, but as I know the cats so well, it's only a matter of time till they are all playing, and sleeping, together Rhino will also be getting his claws cut at weekend, so that will be even better for me when he jumps up and uses me to stretch on....no more scratches I have to admit that this Christmas is going to be so good, especially as I know that I have 2 new dogs in the family, both who will get spoilt rotten and will enjoy it! I hope so at least Thanks Jacobean, they are fab and it's fab news for all of us, Laura E and Rhino's last owners as he has made himself a home with us, but we have to make sure we don't take him on too many 4 mile walks for a bit...even the 2 mile usual ones tires him out
lauraw
woohoo great news!! The cats are both down and playing with Rhino and Charlie!!! They ventured down earlier and have both let Rhino sniff them properly and even lick them....I'm so happy it didn't take as long as I thought it would. Also, Rhino has picked up another mad thing from Charlie, when they are playing Charlie usually has a mad dash until I stop him, and today Rhino has started doing the same....I keep trying to take a photo of them as they have both started lying on their backs but still playing with each other, so as soon as I manage to get a photo I'll post it!! Laura_E
That's fantastic news! I'm so glad that the cats are coming round. I realised today that I didn't include the mac for Charlie in the parcel that I sent, so I have put it in an envelope and mailed it up today. Sorry about that, was having a blonde day I think! lauraw
Laura no need to apologise but when they arrive I will let you know when everything arrives we're having problems with our post again and so I haven't had any mail again today....bloody Royal Mail Thought I would let you know, Charlie and Rhino were having a bit of a fight earlier, they started arguing over Charlie's ball, and so I waded in to break them up, then Sox decided she would join in, so there was fur flying (all Charlie's) and I'm holding Rhino's collar, shouting at Bradley's dad (as he was here visiting) to get hold of Sox when she decided to attack me...I've now got claw marks on my bum and leg and 2 fingers... but they have just been playing again, so of course they were growling at each other and she's just come marching in and meowed at them and they have stopped . She can control them!! But the 4 of them are getting on so well now it's unbelievable but so good to see
Laura_E
Oh no, sorry to hear about Charlie and Rhino fighting. I didn't think Rhino had it in him to stick up for himself! I'm glad to hear that Sox is playing peace keeper, although the attack on you sounds nasty. I can totally sympathise, cat scratches hurt sooooo much!! lauraw
She is definitely acting as Peace Keeper. They are playing again (what a surprise!?) and in she strolls, meows, waits till they stop then slowly strolls out again Rhino has got brave, but it was Charlie that started it all, because it was "his" ball, but I don't think they'll do it again, not with Sox on the prowl. Thanks for the sympathy, they are stinging like mad today, especially the ones on my bum and legs, struggling to sit down but in a couple of days I know they'll have almost disappeared and if it's shown them that Sox is boss and they won't fight again, I really don't mind.
