purple_mog
sending you much love Jules Do you have anything planned for while Chris is away? Just thinking that it might help you to have some social stuff to keep you from drowning in the grief? Its always okay to grieve and express your feelings, but remember you need support and love from us on here, and 'real' people too

Ian
I hope that in time the many happy memories of times you shared will come back to the fore and replace your initial grief with happier thoughts. Until then you might find these sites of help / comfort. http://www.indigo.org/rainbowbridge_ver2.html http://www.bluecross.org.uk/web/site/AboutUs/PetBereavement/PBSSIntro.asp
Tempest
Thanks for all the kind words guys they're much appreciated Morag - one of my 'doggy' friends is taking me out for dinner on Saturday night to get me out for a while. I was in London today for work so the change of scene helped but am working from home for the rest of the week which I think will be tougher. I had a card in the post from the vets today that all the vets, nurses and receptionists at the surgery had signed which I thought was lovely but really made me blub - it had a lovely picture of rainbow bridge on the front and a little cat and dog going off together on their journey
