barb
Holly picked up a worm by our river OH spotted it and tpld her to drop it, luckily she did because it still had a hook on it. I am fed up with fishermen leaving thier rubbish on the river banks. It could have been very nasty if she had not dropped it. Barbara

ranirottie
poor baby, fishermen should be much more careful. When my daughter was little she trod on a discarded hook and had to go to hospital.
blackmagic
.........was out walking the puppy when he spotted the fishing line in her mouth. After attempts to remove it, he took her to a vet who initially thought she had swallowed one of the hooks. Why you should not try to remove a swallowed hook http://www.petplace.com/dogs/how-to-remove-a-fishhook-in-your-dog/page1.aspx
