purple_mog
Just wondering if anyone here has a daylight alarm clock and how have you found using it? Lots to choose from in variety and price on the market, but I find getting up when its pitch black so unbearably hard that I think I need to try this out - or my winter exercise routine is never going to happen! khanu
I have one. I like it, I have bottom of the range one (still expensive though!) which is ok, but I would like more functions. My daylight bulb died the other week though and I still haven't replaced it - I'm really struggling to get up now. I find that often I'm awake before the alarm goes off as the light has woken me up naturally. I am not a morning person at all, well not when I'm woken by an alarm anyway, and having the light really helped my mood upon waking. I like them
Sophie
I have this one. Â I find it much easier to get up in the mornings with it. Â Like Khanu I am quite often awake before the alarm goes off. Â I would recommend getting one with a radio though - mine only has a beep as back up to the light, and on the few occasions I'm not awake before it goes off, I really hate being waken up by a loud beeping. murtle
I have this one and wouldn't be with out it. http://www.lumie.com/shop/products/bodyclock-advanced-200 Had it for about 6 years and it makes such a difference. Friends that have bought on our recommendation have noticed a huge difference too. It's lovely in the evening to go to sleep to, as well as waking up to in the morning. Ruthi (borrowadog)
I've had mine for about 10 years, it was the very first one on the market. Wouldn't be without it, before that I used a SAD lamp for about 2 hours a day, now I hardly ever need it! Because not only is it a nice way to wake up, but used regularly it resets your body clock by simulating dawn. Ruth
Wendbert
I have this one. I have that one too and I love it It made a huge difference when I was working shifts and sleeping in the day, especially winter when I'd hardly see daylight. I definitely feel more awake when the alarm actually goes off, even mornings like today when I was up at 5am

purple_mog
oooh - well found Sam! Now I am slightly torn between the cheap bargain refurb option, the still cheapish but with a normal radio, or full price with a digital radio....I do like being able to have a radio too and not sure if its worth buying a non-digital??
