rhydowenrodentrefuge Posted September 19, 2009 Report Share Posted September 19, 2009 Hello everyone, My name is Clare and along with my partner we run a small home based rodent rescue called Rhydowen Rodent Refuge in West Wales www.rhydowenrodentrefuge.webs.com I have been taking in unwanted rodents since 2003 but prior to that took in abandoned kittens (and still do as is the nature of the Welsh countyside). We fostered a large number of degus in 2006 on behalf of Pet Rescue UK. There is a lack of rehoming services for rodents in West Wales and they are still regarded as vermin by many. So since buying our own home we have been in a position to take in and rehome rodents and so the rescue was born in 2008.
