goldie mum Posted September 3, 2009 Report Share Posted September 3, 2009 My new Oldies Club foster dog Jessie (see her in the Watch This Space section) won't have much room under her pillow tonight. She's just come back from an overnight stay in the veterinary hospital where they removed 18 of her teeth!! The tooth fairy is going to be very busy. Poor old Jessie, she's on liquid food for a week now and loads of antibiotics as there was a nasty infection there as well. She's only been with us for a couple of days and was in so much pain when she arrived but that wonderful goldie character is still shining through - never a complaint, just a waggy tail. Now the horrible teeth are gone and the arthritis is medicated - next week a lovely bath and groom and she'll be the belle of the ball. She deserves so much, she's absolutely adorable.
