Brunzara
I am afraid that we have some bad news re. Howard Today he has been for a scan as a urine sample showed blood and a high white blood cell count, he is also drinking a hell of a lot of water. Unfortunately he has advanced cancer in both kidneys, his prostate and all around that area He is a happy lad though, he is enjoying his walks, loves his food and sleeps through the night. He is not restless and is showing no signs of being in pain so he will be living out the rest of his days with the love and care he has so desperately missed out on in his previous life. I can never say enough how very very special Angela is Thank you Wendy (everybody else involved also thanked over on RDR) for helping this boy find happiness at last Edited June 10, 2008 by Brunzara

zico's mum
Was so sad to hear this news but so very grateful to RDR and Tailends for ensuring whatever time he has left will be spent with love and free from pain as much as possible - the alternative just doesn't bear thinking about. He was so good on the trip and made himself at home the minute he entered Angela's garden - do dogs sense when they are safe I wonder?
