Tiny Black Toy Poodle Girl

Recommended Posts

This tiny black toy poodle girl went missing at about 5.30pm today, Friday 2nd November between Lincoln and Gainsborough. She was with her male owner in an area she is not familiar with. He let her off-lead and she just, in his words, vanished!!

She is wearing a red collar with an old Poodles in Need tag, from when she was a rescue some time ago, but she IS MICROCHIPPED to her owners.

She is a nervous little girl and with fireworks building up she will be terrified and trying to find her mummy owner, who she is very close to, in an area she is just not familiar with.

Anyone with any news, or needing further details, please contact her owners on 01427 612061 or mobile 07932 760751

OR Hanna of Poodles in Need Rescue 01507 478794 (but dial 1470 FIRST if calling from an exdirectory number)

Thank you, Jay

please see post below re toy or miniature

Oh dear, what an awful time for her to go missing :(

Have they reported her to doglost? http://www.doglost.co.uk - if she is put on there, do put up a link to the thread so people in the area can print off posters etc.

Everything crossed that she will be found safely soon - hopefully someone nice will find her and take her in until she can be reunited with her owners :flowers:

Just to confirm that this little dog is definitely A TOY and not a miniature as posted elsewhere. Apparently she has grown a little from when she was rehomed but she is still a toy. Apparently she has grown a little from when she was rehomed but she is still a toy.

She went missing while out on a walk during a visit to Heighington, Lincolnshire but may try to get home to Gainsborough, Jay :)

Emilysmallerpic.jpg This is Emily

Yesterday, 6th November, Hanna went to the place where Emily went missing in Heighington. It is part of a disused rail track area, by the river Withern, which has been 'developed' and turned into 'a walk' of some 30 miles. There is a car park used extensively by anglers and walkers, as well as 2 bridges crossing the river, that Emily could have accessed. She could also have made her way either along the path towards Lincoln, some 5 miles long OR have gone the other way, some 20+miles in the direction of Boston. A fisherman or walker visiting from outside the area could have picked her up wanting to help her, not realising that one of her owners was nearby. Realisically, she could now of course be anywhere.

There is a poster on the doglost website, You do not have to be a member to copy this poster and any help in finding Emily will be greatly appreciated. Jay

I hope she is soon found..but as for the size, most members of the public know there are big poodles (standards) and little poodles. Toy or miniature wouldn't really mean that much I wouldn't think. Lets hope the poor girl is safe.

As we found out for ourselves, it is only when you really get to know poodles that you realise just how different they are.

Believe it or not but some miniatures for example, are as tall as standards, some are as short as toys. I know someone with a miniature that actually stands as tall as a standard but seeing them side by side you can tell straight away which is which.

The main thing is that Emily is found and hopefully there are not too many little black poodles running around loose - I do believe she is out there somewhere, it is just a case of her turning up safe and sound and we couldn't be getting more help, it is great and thank you from Poodles in Need to everyone who is helping, Jay :)

EMILY WAS FOUND A SHORT TIME AGO - SHE IS ALIVE AND WELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She was spotted in a reservoir not too from where she went missing but thankfully the water was very low and somehow she has survived. The person who spotted her called the fire brigade who attended and in turn called the RSPCA who came and then called Hanna because they saw the Poodles in Need Rescue phone number on her tag.

 can't stop grinning Jay
