Fee
I've just seen poor Peggy's entry on the OC site and can't get her out of my mind now http://www.oldies.org.uk/?p=2766 Bless her, she really shouldn't be in kennels and terrified at her age. I know the people at Ark are fantastic with their oldies and really look after them, but this little girl needs a quiet place of her own asap. jax39
Oh my goodness, poor old girl. If I was able to financially Id take her like a shot. Hope she finds somewhere very soon.
BeadyP
I've a 14 yr old greyhound, and it breaks my heart the thought of such oldies alone in kennels. Especially this time of year. They are bound to hear fireworks at night, yet they are alone in kennels. I hope she finds somewhere safe very soon.
melissa
don't understand how people can do that to them at that age
redditchlady
Poor girl. Couldn't the family have hung on to make their move or perhaps got someone familiar to the doglet to take her in. How very sad. Kazz xx
ranirottie
If I could persuade hubby I would love to take her but I reckon I know the answer!. Poor little love. A little while ago I was looking for a little dog just like her but somehow I ended up with a hyper loopy Dobermann. x
jax39
Keep coming back to this poor girl, could she not go into a foster home?
Ian
It's always beyond me how when you look at dogs like Peggy & Benny The Bichon x the owner can go. If I couldn't take my dogs with me I wouldn't be able to just go and leave them
jax39
I agree Ian, how could you leave a dog after 16 years?? Unless there are reasons beyond their control, its beyond me too.

jax39
Good for you Doggy lover, I was thinking the same thing. But from memory I have a feeling that the Ark do not use foster homes, but hopefully they will in this case. Fingers crossed.

jax39
Just spoken to someone who helps at the Ark. Fee is absolutely right, they are looked after wonderfully, and Peggy has a heated kennel, which is well lit, and the owner keeps a very watchful eye on them all. But would still love to see her in a home.
