They are looking at Boston Terriers, and are just waiting to hear about a pup that is in their local rescue centre. I know nowt about them and just want to know if they are suitable for first time dog owners. My daughters oh's family have always had dogs but this will be the first one he been responsible for. I'm just worried that it's not an ideal first dog especially when all my daughter has been used to is my wee hairy monster, and the occasional visit from my sisters staffies. She and her husband ran a small boarding kennels, and specialised in taking inseason bitches in for the duration. One memorable day Dirty Bertie, the boston, scaled the wire and managed to mate three in season pekes before he was spotted! he was a lovely dog, but he lived up to his name.
